This time no car, no welding machine anywhere but very interesting. Your tips and tricks are always pretty clever, like it very much!!!

Hi mate. Yes, not the usual video this one. I've got anther car one coming and it's my favourite car of all time. Not an Alfa I'm afraid but the same era.

@@bensclassicbodywork Yeeehaaa, I'm excited!!!😃 By the way, I'm also a fan of other car brands!😇 The year of manufacture should be correct, it should be cool (in my opinion) and it should be a little understated!😎 --- By the way, I don't sit in front of the screen all the time, even though it may seem that way!🤣

@@dirkdutzmann9250 😂😂👍👍 That's funny. Although I'm doing a video on my favorite car, I haven't actually ever driven an Alfa Romeo of any kind. Always wanted to because people say they are amazing to drive. I know they sound and look great but that's the limit of my experience. Maybe I'll get a test drive in the spider when its finished.

Great workshop guide, like your idea of different lengths. I used a guide to cut a wing, much better than freehand and cutting disc bouncing on metal or going off line.

You did the right thing in my opinion to use a cutting guide, even on a wing. It just makes things easier. Where it is really important is when you want to fold sheet accurately, you need an accurate point to measure from. No good if the cut edge is wondering off even by a 1mm. Accuracy is your friend, I'm not sure if I spent enough time in the video getting this point across. Thanks for the comment 👍👍

What a really good idea Ben. You're dead right about the wear on standard angle. Being a tight-fisted Yorkshireman, I wonder how some glass off cuts would hold up? Even if it cracked, it wouldn't throw the cutting disc much out of line

I wondered exactly the same thing, it would be cheap as chips with glass. Glass isn't as hard as carbide but it would definitely resist wear a lot better than steel. Worth a try, what have you got to lose ?

Really?!?!😱 Not that this concerns me, but I once saw a sticker that said: "You're not a man unless you've driven an Alfa"!😁 ---Or something in that style.😎 So finish the thing and enjoy a round or two!😇😇😇
