Thank You, I am writing a book teaching people how to transform their life. Part of it is about the brain, gut and heart. I am also preparing workshops to teach people how to get out of depression, transform their lives, make it through tough times, etc. Yes all different types. Anyway on those I need some basics about the brain, the neurotransmitters, Amino Acids and the proper diet. Along with proper actions, thought process etc.

Tumeric, yes WITH black pepper to release the beneficial properties. I eat all these foods reularly and my memory is still pretty bad. But I attribute most of that to smoking a lot of herbs in the past, plus regular insomnia..

Congrats on the weight loss. Looking good. :) I tend to not cook curry in my apartment because I don't have a kitchen fan so I wait to visit my parents and my mom makes it for me haha. The yellow curry you showed, is the one we use in the Caribbean and it includes tumeric. I often visit my parents when I'm craving it.

Looking good is irrelevant if the mind don't work right. I'd rather know what will make my whole mind function at top level vs just being able to memorize and remember stuff. Anyone can memorize the rules and regulations and then repeat them by rote regurgitation. But I want a mind that reasons, thinks, creates, makes connections between the past, present and possible... I want a mind that can make judgements without having to ask permission or have some kind of board meeting or collaboration. I love a good COOP, but I have to be able to stand on my own two feet to actually function well in the world.

I felt relieved when you said you lost 20lbs from thinking. Because I trained my memory for over a month and lost 11.9lbs within that month. People thought I was nuts when I told them I lost weight from thinking. Since then I never truly recovered because I developed unhealthy habits, and then my brain went to shit. Hopefully your inspiring knowledge will help me to recover.

He giving good advice. I eat all those things, and lots of it everyday. I never labeled them as brain food, I ate some for top antioxidant property, blueberry for anti-cancer property, turmeric for anti-inflammatory property, flax for omega 3, Actually, broccoli is my favorite vegetable, somehow my body and limbic knew the biochemistry before I intellecutally knew, I craved broccoli if I don't eat cruciferus veggie....broccoli is one top anti-cancer food, but it best for liver to for sulphorane for glutathione.......another anti-cancer food. but chocolate......I eat that cause I like the dopamine effect....sorry, like the druggie effect,phenethylamine, but can't go to brain....lacking CH3, get whack out by MAO immediately in body. It the caffeine that can enter the brain. don't like caffeine effect.

Rainbow Trout instead of salmon also has omega 3's. I also take the omega 3 supplement too. I put blueberries in a smoothie along with strawberries, banana and matcha green tea. I eat everything you mentioned in this video except walnuts, which I will start purchasing. I also love avocados but they have to be bought at just the right stage of ripeness. I have had avocados go rotten on me. They were not ready to eat when I first purchased them and then they became soft enough to cut into, but when I opened them up they were all rotten! I was so disappointed because I wanted to use them for a guacamole recipe. Oh well!

Ronnie! I'm allergic to fish too. I'm just curious...what are the symptoms of your allergy? I usually get some weird stitching pain that comes and goes in waves under my left bottom rib...it usually goes away in around 30-40min. But it can sometimes get really painful. And did you find something that helps with your fish allergy...or have you heard of some potential cures? P.S. Huge fan of yours. Have been following your stuff and reading about you since your very first participation in the memory championship.

I would add coconut oil, boswellia, kefir, greek yoghurt, all organic raw veg, raw garlic, raw ginger, raw whole lemon juiced, raw honey, cold brew tea and coffee keeping the grounds to add to smoothies for beneficial fibre, pink Himalayan salt, chlorella, spirulina, apple cyder vinegar, extra virgin olive oil. Enjoy! p.s. Avoid processed fats, sugars and salts.
@Pllm30

Mark, store bought kefir created a lot of mucus and sinus problems, homemade kefir had mold, some raw veggies are goitrogens, honey still has sugar in it, some teas and coffees are not good for the thyroid, pink salt has some impurities, spirulina is pond scum that made me sick, acv is a strong acid that made me feel very funny in the mornings with greasy skin and greasy dark yellow urine, so say.

Greek yogurt is terrible for the environment. Raw garlic should be consumed as needed, ginger is great antioxidant, local honey can help with allergies if eaten regularly, too much caffeine is not great for your nervous system, try cutting back on coffee and drinking more green tea, Pink himalayan salt has more mineral content than regular salt, Chlorella and spirulina need to be sourced properly otherwise most brands have impurities that you dont want and are bad for brain health like aluminum, Apple cider vinegar can fuck up your esophagus ( I speak from person experience and someone else close to me, better to take vinegar tablets if you are trying to regulate blood sugar). Olive oil isnt great if its been sitting around for a long time exposed to oxygen, you can get inflammation from this. Here are some things you should consider adding to your regimen if you want better cognition: Bacopa monnieri, Lions mane mushroom, blackseed oil, Iodine (Lugol's or nascent, research proper dilution) Magnesium (also research because there are bunch of different magnesium variants with slightly different effects). Broccoli is also good brain food as well.

Come at this from the other direction too : blood flow. Japanese Natto, Aged Gouda Cheese, Goose Liver, Sauerkraut, all that type of food has Vitamin K2. These help channel calcium out of your blood and into your bones, where it belongs! Otherwise, arteries can harden due to calcification. This also creates clots, clogging, etc. Try and keep anxiety in check too.
