😂😂....it's the best battery investment I've ever made, on morning I don't know what happen and my battery was low to crank, I was embarrassed in front of the neighbors, I just go in the app and jump started it...😂...I was relieved.

Good video, I have one JP 33 with a lithium 45ha and a ultra supercap. In the reason I did that because I'm running a stock alternator with no big three. That super cap works so good. In I just brought a second ultra cap with another JP 33 in a 320 amp alternator.

I got my Ioxus cap a while back and installed. It helps out alot on my stock alternator, 2 agm battery system. Helps with voltage for sure and the bass is alot stronger. I got mines around 100$ so it was a no brainer.. I would definitely recommend it.

I’m sure that exo had installed one of these ultra caps in one of his cars and he was happy with the results

Anybody else notice this video feels like a 60 minutes episode from the 90s? Lol good info though and CAE coming in with the craziest timing. Your either in my head or were both planning a build and were in lockstep idk 🤷♂️ Edit: what website was that? What website do you get your car audio stuff from?

Best thing out there I have found his glow voltage series 3 don't knock me until you have tried it and if you have an even bigger system try adding series 1

I love my glowe voltage series 2. Im thinking about adding a series 1 to have more headway. I have a 12.5k deaf bonce amp with a 400 amp alternator and it runs lovely.

How do you set it up? Do you need an upgraded alternator? I have only a 1500watt d skar amp but it’s been going into protect I’ve sent it to them before and they sent it back same thing eventually my lights went back to dimming as well as the lights on the amp it would dim I don’t know if this would be the best fit for my small setup but these look pretty safe just not much research on em
@CarAudioEnthusiasts

just add it like you would a battery, itll do its own thing automatically. it WILL help with dimming lights, and stop the quick voltage drops, overall it will smooth out the electrical quite well.

How many watts will it support?
@CarAudioEnthusiasts

not really a metric i could give you, that all depends on your entire charging system, and the batteries you have, i can say im running an 8k with 2 agms and the Cap, with 670 amps of alternator
@subdynoman
Ай бұрын
@robertmontalvo597 it should support up to up to 1000 amps for 1 second or less for more time. I'm using one on a taramps smart 3k and it is a significant buffer for hard power demands, the cap holds up to about 10 seconds worth of full power before it begins to draw from the rest of the system bat and alt. I added a second cap and it holds about 45 seconds. As far as the risk...having a system in a car is a huge risk. Fusing and lithium is scary.

After doing some research, I have not found any reports of defective materials or quality issues with this product.. Im sure that they exist, I just didn't see anything pop up, I will say that I've read or heard something vaguely about a possible chip or a component overheating or malfunctioning inside the unit that possibly caused FIRES. I can't confirm, I'm just saying that I've heard some rumors. It may be worth it To You! to investigate and research for yourself. It seems that there are a high number of incidents, that for the most part could've been avoided by studying and familiarizing with manual before installation. In my opinion, there is a large Learning Curve with this product.. Which matches and correlates directly with the Users' Margin for Error. A novice is going to want to study the instruction manual thoroughly before use. or else.. Hope that makes sense.. Knowledge is power! There are way too many ways to screw this install up! If you arent comfortable with your skill level, I'd recommend getting expert advice, like a consultation from the Wizz, CAE on how to hook it all up so it's all safe! and customized for your application! Then, off to have it installed by a specialist. Substandard installation, or using inferior parts, using the wrong size or type of wires or accessories when installing, or being unfamiliar with the operational procedures and/or manual instructions, as well as using it out of its intended range; Cold or freezing temp conditions can cause problems.. maybe heat or moisture as well I'm not too sure. These are just some of many factors or scenarios that you can personally take control of, in hopes of eliminating any unnecessary failure points. These units are built for offroad applications, so I bet that they are durable and made of solid construction, that have been tested for quality and should hold up well. It may be best to have it professionally installed though for peace of mind. I'm super interested in getting one, especially because they are limited in quantity. Got the fomo going tough. High output alternator was up next to buy but thinking i better pause and pick one of these up while I can Especially since the OG CAE himself (sorry dude, whats your name, ha) gave me the green light.

yes, there were a couple out of thousands that had issues, but there were other issues that led to the failures.
