Your review and instructions was spot on. I’m sure you could setup a mini online store or signup as a Amazon supplier. There’s a lot of owners looking for a local supplier I believe. Thanks for providing us with this video. Looking forward for more LattePanda videos.

This is amazing, thank you for sharing this! I got my battery and tested it last night. I got the 4400mah version and the LateOanda was able to idle for about 3 hours. I’m expecting about 45 minutes of runtime under load. I do not have the LCD panel attached. Like other people, I’d love a 10 pin PanelMate extension cable so I can better position the batter under the board as well as a case. If somebody wants to help with this I would happily pay 🙂

Thank you. I have some parts I’d be happy to sell you for cheap if you wanted to make it. The only problem I had was getting the connector made was very difficult without their expensive dedicated crimper. I don’t fully trust the crimped wires I made so I am not comfortable selling them

Hello, I have an issue with my lattepanda alpha and this battery. It is not reading the battery status properly, it changes to 0% really fast sometimes and when I charge it, it says full battery fast aswell (I think because it is still full but lattepanda thinks no). Sometimes I can use it for 1:30 hours and others just 5 minutes. Do you know how can I fix this? Thank you!

Great video and awesome find but really the form factor and placement of the cable on the battery is not ideal. Let's see it arranged together in a small enclosure and not laying out on a desk. My experience with the lattepanda had revealed a number of engineering mistakes. I have shared them with them and hope they are taken into account in the next version.
@HandheldHardware

I agree, i have attempted some enclosure and you can make a case with the 7 inch display but there will be slightly large bezels, somewhat unsightly. Have you joined the discord I started? A couple lattepanda employees are there

@@HandheldHardware Thanks for the response, yeah I'm trying to use the OEM dock to ensure the Switch's M92T36 doesn't get fried, but unfortunately it requires a 15V 2.6A power supply. I've looked everywhere for a Lipo powerbank that's 10,000Mah or less and is capable of outputting enough power, but no dice. I have a 45W PD Li-ion powerbank (slowly) making it's way from China, but still isn't ideal. I did find a USB-C PD input only charger board called LiPow, that has extensive design documentation available, but all that is past my own skillset. If you do take a shot at designing some sort of battery solution, it would be awesome to see!
