Insightful video, I've heard reports of a high pitched chirp from the transmitter, how did you and your brother find it? 🤔 If you could review the Ratio iX3M 2 GPS Tech+ and ideally compare it other technical dive computers such as the Garmin Descent MK3i, Shearwater Perdix 2, it would be greatly appreciated. 🙏

Yes, a lot of reviews are saying this and I'm sure my ears are not tuned into this sound, but I did not experience it, nor did anyone on the dive boat comment on it. We were all on SCUBA and I've seen some rebreathers complain about it, and that might be because they don't have the bubbles we did.

Great review on the Garmin Descent Mk3! For your next dive computer review, it would be awesome if you could cover the Shearwater Perdix 2. It’s a popular choice among divers, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on its features and how it compares to the Mk3. Keep up the great content!

@@DIVEindotcom I think a lot of divers, like me, are doing purely recreational diving despite having dived for 30+ years. We get by using the simplest of dive computers (I have an old Zoop novo) but some features are really nice to have and we all like to upgrade: bigger brighter nicer screen, AI, a user interface that don't require you to learn morse code (more than one button). While a Mk3i 43 would be my dream, the I770r, Eon core, Peregrine TX, Mares Quad Ci etc are in my opinion the entry level computers with such features (i.e. I can keep all my internal organs). Specifically I am looking for expert opinion on the "user experience" when compared to the others. I can compare the tech specs, but I can't use several of them side by side and compare the "performance"/comfort/simplicity/ease of use/limitations/irritations/niggles, and so on. But you can :)
