Ingredients:
• 400 grs. Flour
• 15 grs. Baking powder
• 50 grs. Sugar
• 5 grs. Salt
• 90 grs. Butter
• 150 ml. Milk
• 1 egg
• Vanilla
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, put the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and mix
2. Sift.
3. Cut the butter into pieces and add to the flour.
4. Crumble with your hands, until it is like sand.
5. Put in the fridge for at least an hour.
6. To the milk, add the egg and vanilla.
7. Take the flour preparation out of the fridge and add the liquid. Mix.
8. Pour on the counter and using a spatula, integrate all the ingredients.
9. Try to touch the dough as little as possible with your hands so as not to heat it.
10. The colder the dough is, the softer the scones will be.
11. Stretch 2 cms. thick and cut with a 5 cms. round pasta cutter. Flour it after each cut. The cleaner the cut, the more the scones will rise when you bake them.
12. Bake in a preheated oven at 190ºC for between 12 'and 14' minutes (may vary depending on the oven). When they are golden they are ready.
13. When taking them out of the oven, put on a rack and cover with a kitchen cloth. So that they keep the
temperature. Eat warm.
Note:
If they are left over, the next day they can be heated with a heat stroke in the oven.
