Classic handset…great contrast against the black dial too. I don’t like the ditching of the small seconds hand, but I agree with you that it cleaned up the dial. The top/bottom subdial layout looks great!

I am an old pilot. If you fly you know why a running seconds is important. Was it castrated and had a “PowerMatic” 3 hertz movement too. Fine review Sir. Just a taste thing. I want a tool watch to be a tool, not a fashion statement. I hate what Swatch has done to ETA. SW 500 for me. Thanks

This in 44mm, i would buy. Do you know an alternative to me? Dont must be a chrono. I like the khaki colored hands and the Indizes, Details on the dial.

Great looking watch for sure but sadly too big on the lug to lug, shame really because its so nice and being a hamilton fan it a chronograph would go nicely with my mechanical.

Yeah, I get it. I think they did a nice job balancing the sizing overall, but given the dimensions needed to fit the 7750 and have 100m WR its tricky to achieve a modest size.

@@hammondwatch2808 Very true, thickness is okay, just the l2l that does it for me.

@@WesWatchRoom I know. My reference to the dimensions of the 7750 was regarding the circumference of the movement. That, added with the thickness of the case wall, used to gain 100m+ WR, means 42mm was about a small as they could make it. If you look, the lugs themselves don't protrude far from the case at all. This l2l sizing is the result of form following function.

Ashford’s great, and returns with them are easy as well. Avoid Jomashop like the plague.

Entry level. Lol. It's a good watch but I like the older ones much better. I hate the term entry level.

Yeeaaahhhh I get it. There's just such a wide range of watches on the market and it's a commonly used term that makes them more easily searchable. It really depends on your outlook. I don't see it as a derogatory term.

@@hammondwatch2808 not blaming you but it's a financially discriminatory term. I do have non cheap watches btw this isn't coming from envy.

@@Ninjamlm As long as you like your watches, it doesn't matter to me or anybody else how mush they cost. Saying you have mon cheap watches while calling entry level a financially discriminatory term makes it seem like the words offend you more than they should. Theses are just watches. I woudn't take it to seriously. Cheers.

@@hammondwatch2808 no it's the way a lot of these watch collectors talk about their collections and then talk about the less expensive but great brands like Hamilton that's what irks me. I've had discussions with guys saying oh it's a Hamilton they're cheap blah blah "fit and finish" blah blah but I wear a Hamilton over several Breitlings and Doxas etc because I think they're just as good.

@@Ninjamlm I 100% understand what you're saying. I just dont care what "these watch collectors" think or say. I like the watches I like. You like the watches you like. They like the watches they like. Letting people you disagree with irk you is a waste of time and thought. If the conversation continued I'm sure there's more everyone agrees on than not. It's just words and opinions.
