Why am I watching a review by a person who doesn't like the style of product?

See, they're focusing on the reverse. Security patches are helpful, but Android 14 is needed. Either that or make it easier for the community to make custom roms.

See, I used to be a die hard Motorola fan. The main thing that led me elsewhere was 1. The software rarely got an actual update and 2. I had the really bad luck of always getting one with a bad microphone. That led me to OnePlus and then eventually apple

I've had my Motorola Razr Plus since it dropped and it's held up great looking forward to later today because the Razr 50 ultra drops. Or here in the US will be called the Razr plus 2024. Looks like it's going to have a 4in outer screen and also they're upgrading the cameras which is a plus I'll end up getting that and passing this one on to my wife still is as nice as the day I took it out of the box thanks for the video keep up the good work. Oh yeah it's not my daily driver My daily driver is the Samsung S24 Plus And my side piece is the Pixel 8 pro. Overall I'm happy that I added it to my arsenal of devices. What do you think of that Motorola Stylus 2024 (Red)?
@RealWorldReview
3 ай бұрын
I'm probably gonna skip the Razr+ 2024 cause the 2023 already is a solid phone minus the camera. The moto g stylus 5g 2024 seems like a solid phone with an OLED screen and a decent camera set (no 4k video always leads to bad camera quality though). Not sure about the processor and pricing, as it's short of Samsung S20 performance for $400. I can see this being a good deal in a year when you can find these for $100-200. The moto g stylus 5g 2023 is on swappa for $150 unlocked right now

I like xperia 1 iv screen ratio, I guess, 40 ultra is a combination of a short screen and a long screen....

Hi bro, I asked you to recommend a mobile phone earlier and you said Motorola edge plus 2022 but unfortunately my budget is strict but i could get The edge 2022 (non-plus) or the edge 2021, which one would you recommend?
@RealWorldReview
3 ай бұрын
The Edge 2022 is a smaller phone, but I would say that's the better option. There's no processor bump, so hopefully the price difference isn't too much.

People be weird. What's the big deal about a delayed OS upgrade? Nothing much changes with each upgrade. Security updates are still regular. Our current culture simply wants to be disgruntled about everything.

The issue that we have to wait just to be disappointed. Even slow companies like Asus brought android 14 to older models. I don't care about security patches. But when something like the Samsung A13 gets android 14 before a $1,000 newer Motorola phone, it just feels like the manufacturer doesn't care about their customers. Post sale, that's like the only thing they need to do. Sure they update their apps, but software is the only post sale upkeep needed (besides cloud, server, etc type stuff, but that's regardless of specific sale)

For as much as I've seen the main target for this type of phone is young ladies. The halved form factor fits way better in small purses and such, so if you have to go out the night and you only have that kind of bag with you, this phone won't be an issue.

Motorola follows very strange update policy, platform updates are provided in reverse order of their launching. This means even though Razr+ is more expensive+powerful than midrange G series phone launched after it, that G series phone will get update before Razr. It's just pathetic, on top of their slow update release cycle.
@RealWorldReview

Exactly. And then they just drop phones like it's nothing. It'd be fine if they allowed for custom roms, but it's not that common anymore, or the bootloaders are difficult to unlock

I came from the Samsung Z flip 3 after being an avid Samsung user for years, but this feels like a big upgrade with this phone. The big price drop was kind of deal breaker, and this phone is comparable to the Z flip 5 in my opinion, maybe even a little better. Just a matter of preferences.

Camera is the biggest compromise. I tried the Z Flip 6 the other day and the difference is night and day. Samsung camera processing is next level. Other than that go for Motorola.

@@iluvcakes19 I am sort of new to flagship phones, and I am a bit older in years. Phones have come such a long way. As far as the camera goes, last night I was at the beach nearly pitch black aside from the lights coming from the restaurant near the shore. I took out my Motorola and began filming the waves. Now, when I used the Z flip at night it was really hard to see anything or make out what was in the frame. The night mode on this phone made everything clear enough to satisfy me and I could tell what was being filmed. I am really impressed by the camera quality of this phone, but it's simply because I am not used to the new and advanced features of flagship phones. I paid 260 for a used Z flip 3. I also paid 260 for the moto razr plus a few months later because the screen on the flip 3 went completely orange. I am avid about Samsung. They have been my go to, but oddly enough it was the retro razr feature that drew me in to buying the plus 😂 I used to have the old school razr back in its day. It is my opinion that the plus is more comparable to the Z flip 5 even though I never had that phone or used one. I think Samsung would benefit from the price drops that Motorola offers because that was also a reason I went with this phone instead of the flip 5. Of course it is a matter of preferences and what you use the phones for. I really like mine and I haven't come across too many videos of defects or people dissatisfied with it yet. Thank you for your comment.
