The edf does sound nice 👍🏻 and the plane ✈️ sure seems lofty when it’s moving what appears to be slow, wonder 💭 how fast it can go ? Maybe 🤔 someday I’ll finish my 2nd FJ-2 Fury which I have a JP all aluminum 12 blade 70mm edf 6s for it should have a 1.6 to 1 pounds of thrust ratio for going vertical. 😊

This 8s set up has a great sound! It’s got almost unlimited, vertical power to weight ratio. That sounds like a fun project! You can never have enough power! I’m building a new EDF project as well! 😉

Wow Jeff, I think this is the first video where I've seen you! All your videos I've seen so far you've been behind the camera.

Jeff, years ago I had an F-22, 4s single 75mm fan. Fun fact: I used to make structural components for Raptors. As well as many others. Cool 🛩

Thank you for watching! Helis are addicting! I flew planes well before helis but I find helis so much enjoyable and more rewarding.

@@westhobbiesrc8051 YES! Planes have ALWAYS been fun. But I've only been flying Heli's for a year and a half, and my 3D flying only consist of being able to do a loop, backflips, front flips, and an occasional roll. Lately I've been practicing inverted hovering, (on the sim of course) and is VERY HARD for me. On the REAL thing, since I have to drive a little ways to make it to a LARGE open field, which are VERY limited where I live, I've been practicing flying in my front yard, which there's not very much of, and it consists of flying out into the street. I live in a Culdesac so very little traffic. It's a much tighter space, but it's made me a better pilot I feel. I'm still not where I want to be yet, but at least I get 1 or 2 packs a day in. A 200 sized heli almost is a little too big for the area, but the 150's are great! M1's and now since I have a couple of Goosky S1's and 1 Goosky S2, I'm preferring them a little bit over the M1's and M2's I've been flying. When you said "Rewarding", I feel that's dead on accurate. So many variables, and ALWAYS challenging.
