Further proof here that all you really need in your fitness journey is a solid pair of gymnastics rings, a squat rack (or bar) to hang them on, and a couple of weights plus a dip belt. Gains are covered for the next several decades and you're saving your dollars relative to the lifetime cost of a commercial gym.

Agreed brother I have completely refurbished my garage as a gym and I have these type of equipment and it has endless types of exercises you can do. It also helps to have a gym bolted onto your house if it's financially possible for others, especially like me to manage time with my young children. Also its this will be used for them when they get older and hope to turn them into athletes

@@its_lucky252yeah. But you have to know the differences. Calisthenics help to better control your own bodyweight. On the other hand, Gym will be better in moving heavy weights. And Hybrid is the best of both worlds. If you can afford a gym membership, then go on. But most people cannot afford it or prefer to work out alone. Stay strong

@@FitnessFAQs yes the leg exercises your chose look realy good never saw something like that. my problem for the last 5 months is that I dont have much weight so hitting my legs was always hard but with what your showed I think I can push my legs again. also a question when you dont mind, I realy like to get strong and lift heavy and I realy like rows&overhead press in the 5 rep range with heavy weights, do you think when I go heavy on every exercise I should split it up? because I feel like when I go heavy on eveyrthing I cant perfrom like I want later in the workout. my idea was still doing fullbody but making 2 different days so I can recover better. so splitting up Dips from Pushup and Rows from Pullup

what were some of the useless stuff you were doing? so i can avoid them
@ngdome7583

@@someone5067 as a beginner its when you do too much, like what I did was benchpress, incline benchpress, dips and flys and for a beginner thats way too much so I was exausted 24/7 and was never recovered until my next training and that killed my gains. what you should do is only 1 or 2 compound movements and switch them up. so when you do 2 push days a week you should do day 1 incline bench and flys, push2 benchpress and dips. now you can recover and actually feel good and make progress

You have made a number of videos about pre-basics, if I could put it that way, and these are very useful for people starting out. Could you please compile a pre-basics workout video? that would help people who can only do a headhang or only a very partial version of the exercises. It would be nice if it included rings too, but again, on the level of pre-basics. Such a video is really needed because when people get to the gym to lift weights, they could just set the machine for 10, 20 or 50 pounds of resistance, but with the body, you've got all of your poundage, and sometimes it's not obvious how to get started.

In regard of the rings push ups I have a tip for bigger chest even if you don't dispose of plates and belt. If you have a wode enough bar, just put the rings further apart from each others and you will have a more convergence affect, having your chest pulling inword harder to get the job done. This will make a ton harder the exercise and your chest will blow up like a balloon without the need of keep going up with reps, changing variants or adding weight

Awesome. There was me using a bungee anchored in front of me and then pushing back with one leg ( the bungee around the sole of one foot ) at a time to focus on the hamstring ( and I feel it ), but the hamstring curl looks like a variate that will be worth trying. Suffice to say, I use rings because of the ability to twist the wrists and I guess recruit more stabilizing muscles. Not a ring exercise - but an adaptation on the twist that you perform when executing the dip at the top. I usually do this afterwards, as a mean to further fatigue the chest. I angle myself in front of a mirror (not due to vainness, but due to its slippery surface ) to perform a chest press. The hands are fairly close together, with my thumbs almost touching and a cloth between my clenched fists and the mirror. This enables me to twist the wrists as I push away to bring the elbows in to give the inner chest a damn good squeeze. Thank you for uploading and sharing. Sub'd.

I use two short webbing loops around the bar with the handles I use for my stretchbands which are cloe to the bar but still allow for pronation/supination throughout the pull-up movement and set them up between my rings set for dips. So, a closer grip for pullups, wider for ring dips. I do reps on the minute alternating the two for 10 sets of each or 5 alternating ladders of 1,2,3,4,5 reps with auto-regulated rest periods. I add weight on a weight belt as needed.

The strength curve of rows has always annoyed me. Could it be beneficial to do single arm ring rows instead? That way the body would be at more of an incline (out of necessity because of the increased intensity), causing the strength curve to be more even throughout the movement.

What about shoulders? Rear delts?
@eduardoiriarte1911
Ай бұрын
Shoulders are divided into three heads: front, side, and rear Your front delts are hit primarily through pushing movement such as the ring dips and ring push ups. However, if you want isolation work, you can do pike push ups or even tilt your body more forward on the ring push ups. Rear delts are hit through pulling movement such as the Chin up and rows. If you want isolation, ring face pulls or ring flys work great. Side delts are the only lacking factor and can’t really be hit on rings, I would just recommend dumbbell side raises or a backpack with some books in it to perform lateral raises, you shouldn’t need that much weight for them
@perotal

You are working the anterior delts with dips and pushups. Rows and pullups hit the rear delts. If you want bigger focus you can add ring facepulls or reverse ring flys
