Hi, Lisa, I love watching your videos you make it so easy and enjoyable to watch. teaching us easier ways to do things. Today I was enjoying what you were doing and you zoomed in for us to see you colouring the bunny and when you did on your table there is a not in the wood, but if you look above it there is a little dogs face in the wood which looks just like my daughters Jack Russell who I'm looking after he's adorable and he is laying by the fire just like the markings your table. I love it. xxx

Hi I started watching live but I had a lot of buffering on my end so I had to go but I have a question for you. I watch a lot of people color with alcohol markers and you are the ONLY one that wants to let the alcohol dry. Do you have a quick answer as to why? It has always been my understanding that you use the paper you do so the alcohol "sits" on top so you can blend it together. It really threw me when you said let it evaporate first. I'm very new to alcohol markers so curious as to why you do that. Thank you for your time & I enjoy your videos!
@lisasstampstudio
4 жыл бұрын
Sheri, I've taken several classes on alcohol markers by certified instructors and every single one has stressed the importance of taking your time. Laying color down too quickly and then applying another color over the top, especially with a brand new alcohol marker, the color can/will separate. By giving the first tone/coat a few seconds to evaporate, the second coat lays on top of the first tone/coat and blends far better. I hope that helps.
