Picked up some pillarG glad to hear you approve of it. I got some brown patch in my St Augustine last year. So hope this helps This season. If I apply it at the 3lbs per 1000. How soon to re apply? Really appreciate your videos. You And ALLEN Aka the LCN. Are my go to for advise. Trying to get my watering frequency right has been the biggest learning curve for me. To much I get fungus. Not enough it dries out and looks bad. With your videos I'm off to a good start this season! Thank you! 👍

Yes, pillar G is great. The label just says 14 to 28 days, and it only gives one rate. So, anytime within that window. Allen makes great videos he is definitely a must watch. It's a tough balance. You are taking the time to learn so you will get it right. Goodluck on the lawn journey.

I didn’t know zoysia got fungus, and I’ve never heard of fungus on Bermuda grass. I’ve been working with Bermuda grass all my life and I’ve never seen fungus on it. I HAVE seen plenty of fungus on St. Augustine, however. I hate St. Augustine because of all the diseases it gets. I have also seen it completely die out in the winter from extremely cold temperatures. I was thinking of planting zoysia, but now I question whether to do that if it gets fungus. I’m in Texas and I’ve always preferred bermuda… as long as there’s plenty of sun.

Zoysia gets dollar spot fungus often. Which really isn't a big deal. Zoysia main issues when it's cut too high for a long time. It gets very thatchy and holds moisture. That's when you start to have issues. We get grey leaf spot fungus on beemuda here in Florida. Bur if you cut your bermuda 3 times a week, you don't have to worry about it because you cut the fungus off. It's definitely most common in St.augustine grass.

I’m literally looking at grey leaf spot on my Zoysia lawn in Louisiana as I googled more effective fungicides than DiseaseEx. It definitely can get fungus.

What about tarr? It's becoming very common on St fungustine

You know I need to make a whole video about this. Take all root rot is more of a conditional fungus. Yes, fungicide will help, but if the condition is causing it does not get fixed, then you will keep having issues. I will make a whole video on this.

@bettercallchadd yes that's what I'm dealing with right now. I'm noticing tarr more and more in the southern states. That would be nice to make a video how combat or try to control it. I have an idea how to make the turf better but its hard when your on a budget lol
