Your production value is crazy good, you deserve exponentially more subscribers than you have. Keep on making those videos and we'll keep watching :).

We really appreciate that, thanks! We work hard to improve the videos and try new things each chance we get, and I think it's helping. We want each video to have the quality you'd expect from a channel 20 times larger, without compromising on our core values.

i know it is quite off topic but do anyone know of a good site to stream newly released tv shows online?

I have owned this model since Feb 2018, same color, and I did some videos on it on my channel. I did a normal mixed fast /slow, up and down hills all EV drive and did 37 miles of range, then a week later I did an in town all EV drive until the battery ended and the motor kicked on. I got 50 miles for that drive. The rated range of the 9kw battery pack is 29 miles, so I beat that on both tries. Using combined gas and electric driving every day I am averaging per tank 85 to 93 mpg. I am very impressed with this car, drives great and is quiet and smooth riding.

Those are some very impressive numbers! We really liked the PHEV, it's practical for every day use without having to worry about range anxiety. Having a 240V charger at home would make a big difference though, we're hoping to get one installed in our studio so we can make better use of the EVs when we have them booked. Glad to hear you're enjoying the Optima, we think it's a great choice!

Looking at this car, but no local dealers have one. Does the rear seat fold down?

We’ll see if we can get an answer for you today! The Kia Canada press kit for the Optima PHEV doesn’t say, so we’ll find out the old fashioned way.

So do we! When the best car gets an electric option, it makes it hard not to love even more.

We have! We've had the chance to feature a lot more PHEV and EVs since filming this video.

Nice car and good video as always. Now you should do a Tesla review, that would be awesome!

We'd definitely like to! I'm not sure if Tesla has a press fleet out here, but we're hoping to make something happen. We have a few more EV and PHEVs booked over the next couple months.

Perpetual Radio Networks Electric vehicles is something I'm really curious about. I wonder if they will replace all internal combustion vehicles.

It's missing 3 things I would want: fog lights, a spare tire and more trunk space.

Sadly three things you can't get on most PHEVs.

Hey man, great review. I just purchased this same exact vehicle, and I’m only getting 28 miles on a full charge. I see you’re getting around 40. Is there something I’m doing wrong? Is the battery just degrading now that it’s 2 years old?

Is there still a zoo in Granby? Or has Parc Safari Africain shut it down?
@PRNTestDrive

Zoo Granby still exists, they have a water park there. Parc Safari is something we've heard of, but haven't been. I think it's close to the US border if I recall correctly.

Your videos should have MPG not just L/100km. Like watching your videos but just a suggestion, please add it!
@PRNTestDrive

We don't calculate that since we fill up cars in litres and drive in kilometres. Since we almost always talk fuel economy while driving it wouldn't be possible for us to do those calculations on the fly.

He's in Canada and we use l/100km here. You can easily convert to mpg yourself.

I left Québec 20 years ago. Happy place but way too socialist for my liking
