Do the cameras need a hub or NVR? Or do they connect directly to Wifi and that's it?

One problem that I don't like about ring and wish I just bought a nightowl or similar setup is the fact that after the first 30 days you are not allowed to record anything from the cameras unless you pay $3 per month per camera. I didn't watch this video but I bet she did not mention that part. The nightowl setup will record 24/7 with no extra charge.

Or you pay the monitoring for $99 for the year. That's if you don't already have a security monitoring system. You get full access to the features of all the devices when you pay for the monitoring.

I am trying to figure out the 39 day trial on my camera. I am not likin the set up of the. Stick up cam. I haven’t seen any recordings and I am not able to figure out how. My Blink is much simpler and no fee for recordings unless you want long term but you can just email clip

I'm noticing the title doesn't make any mention of review -- it seems to indicate the video discusses features that might make you choose one model over another... which is exactly what the content covers. How is this a problem?

Any plans to update wifi to support 802.11ac or even better, WiFi 6? Having them connected over 5ghz would reduce congestion in most situations and wifi 6 has great bandwidth for a multi-camera setup.

Hello , I need some help with a ring system that I want to get to see if it will fit. Currently I have 3 outside sensor activated lights that I want to replace with Spotlight Cameras. I also want to get a doorbell camera and 2 inside cameras. For this security system I have the following questions : 1. Is there some extra monthly price or I just pay for the cameras ? 2.Are the camera wireless connecting to the router (as I have power but no wired network ) 3.Is there a way to created a NVR functionality to store the recordings locally on some HDD connected to my router or to a device that I get from you ? 4.Can I see all my 5 cameras and the doorbell on a singular application and do I need to pay for that ?

Hiya! I tried suggested command on my amazon firestick, and it showed all three cameras on the screen at once. But now I don't recall that command. I can show one at a time, but not the view of all three! What please is that command that shows Ring cameras in the dashboard view,, with the echo rig in the loop to make the connection? Thank you!

Can we have two different cellphones linked to the camera's to view what is going on?
@ring
3 жыл бұрын
That's a good question! You can definitely have more than one cellphone linked to your Ring account. Once you've completed setting up your Ring device in your app, you will be the sole account Owner. As the account Owner, you have control over all of the settings on your Ring devices. If you want to use multiple electronic devices to control your Ring devices, you can give a Shared User the ability to view one or more of the devices on your Ring account. Great video. Great sales-person. My best friend says his outside cameras are battery powered and give the battery charge info on his app. He said, he just takes them out of the trees where he's got them strapped in, (probably tyraps or electrical tape), and plugs his cellphone charger into them. He says they're fully charged in about 3 hours and last about 2 1/2 months on one charging. They alert him if birds or bears come into his areas. (He lives up close to the mountains, way out in the country.) He says it records the motion and turns back off again. He can listen to the recordings. On the live feeds, he can listen to the audio and talk back to people. He's quite tall, so the average guy would have to get a step-ladder to steal his cameras!
