Today we are making some classic, simple and delicious buttery Shortbread Cookies. Its making method is very friendly to beginners! Give it a try! :)
Ingredients:
Unsalted Butter 250g
Powdered sugar 110g
Cake Flour 240g
Corn Starch 100g
Baking Powder 3g
Salt 1/4 tsp
Instructions:
• Sift powdered sugar.
• Cream unsalted butter and powdered sugar in mixer with paddle attachment until light color and fluffy (this will take several minutes, do not rush)
• Sift together cake flour, corn starch, baking powder and salt.
• Slowly add dry ingredients to mixer on low speed, scraping sides after every other addition.
• Mix until combined. Roll out dough to ½ inch thickness, cut into desired shapes.
Baking:
• Bake at 340 degrees F for 15 - 20 minutes, depending on shape and size.
