@@jaydencappon758 Just keep trying. Try at all different times but especially when you wake up in the night or early morning. Some times it’s easier to focus than at others. It’s a bit similar to meditating. When you realise the mind has wandered, you just gently bring your focus back to whatever your focusing on. When I’m really struggling with staying focused, I quit trying and leave it for another time. I have most success when I’m relaxed about it. Just worked again! I had another WILD using this dreamwalker technique! I just woke up from it. This time using the Love Method timing for a short wake back to bed and then doing the Dreamwalker Technique (see his other video on Love Method=, earlier than traditional wake back to bed). I turned over in bed 3 times (you don't need to stay still - adjust your position or scratch if you need to - perhaps slowly) and dream felt like it started within a few minutes of the 3rd time I turned my physical body over. My visualizations got very incongruous and I felt I must be dreaming so I lifted up in this incomplete scene and actively floated around (slow flying) until it solidified. Perhaps influenced by something Daniel said in the Livestreams on this channel, I got an old song playing during the wild flight with a string section and something in lyrics about "our eyes have a soul" if anyone knows if this is an actual song - I'd love to find it. I wanted to add that I also used the sleep tracker on this channel with the volume on to time my waking (the Love Method timing around 2.5 hours into sleep). I've used it with volume off as well to check and see that I have a mostly "normal" sleep cycle.

I had a slightly hard time focusing on the path and I’m not sure if I was still visualizing it as I feel asleep but soon I began to dream. It was a normal dream, but in a segment of it I vividly remember doing a reality check as everything around me seemed so weird. I tried pushing my finger through my hand, and it went through, but I still didn’t gain lucidity. @@cookiechocolatechip5132 ill give you my personal tips to induce one, i cant guarantee it will work well for you tho but for me it literally always works. So whenever you wake up in the middle of the night or somewhere in the early morning. Just get up for like 2 minutes and take a piss or something. If you do reality checks then that is the perfect moment to do one. Return to bed and preferably lay on your back. But its not truly necessary, now simply keep your mind active by imagining a dream. Or whatever you want to imagine, but make sure to NOT move your body, it will start to itch after a while and you will be tempted to move but IGNORE EVERY SENSATION YOUR BODY SENDS TO YOU. LAY STILL. then after a little while your body will be asleep and unable to move but your mind still awake, congrats, you have a sleep paralysis. When you have it just keep being still. When youre in a sleep paralysis youre already half inside a dream. If you keep being fully aware of your surroundings your chances of having a lucid dream are really high and they will be really vivid aswell. You might even astral project if your lucky. Even of you fall asleep after a sleep paralysis your chances of having a lucid dream will still be high, good luck!
@loriscolangeli6142
3 жыл бұрын
@@cookiechocolatechip5132 also another important tip, don't try and force the experience. When you lay in your bed, dont think about sleep paralysis too much. It might sound weird but the more you try and force it the less chance you have. Simply relax and keep your mind awake and dont move your body, thats all. Dont stress about it or worry to much about techniques or anything, simply allow it to happen. When you find yourself in a sleep paralysis its the same thing, try to not think about a lucid dream because you might get stressed out and that way you probably wont ave a full blown lucid dream. Simply keep your body relaxed and imagine in your head that your arms move or whatever you want to imagine to keep your mind awake, thats all. be cool about it.

I tried this technique and I finally got a lucid dream again. When I woke up in the morning I was still sleepy, so I was thinking, let's imagine going to the bathroom and be aware in my imagination. Then I tried to get out of bed for real. Before going out of bed I took out my earphones (which still had sound/music playing, very low). But when I took the earphones out I still heard the music very clearly. I was so confused, yet I knew the reason was because I was probably lucid dreaming. I had this experience once before, but now I'm quite certain this can be used as a new reality check for me. Thank you!

I really like this technique, its a great way to start the visualization process with a sense of focus, that eventually can end up in a lucid dream. Although, I notice that I sometimes need an extra jolt. So in addition, I shake myself with the help of surrounding objects, like a table for instance. The dreamwalker visualization combined with the shaking gives it enough juice for me to start off the lucid dream. So yeah, I found this really helpful.

I tried doing this recently. I have been doing the daytime part for the past few days, and the other night I woke at around 5 am. So I tried the nighttime part. But I was actually really in need of sleep, so after envisioning the walk back and forth for a while, it seemed like it was keeping me awake too much. Perhaps I am focusing too hard on it? Anyway, I decided at one point to stop the visualization and just let myself drift off. And while I did not do it the way that this technique describes, I did have a lucid dream that night! I imagine it was because I was thinking about LD so much, and went to the trouble of doing this technique, that it sparked my subconscious to think about it. Here is what happened in my LD, if anyone cares to know: I found myself standing in the backyard of a house, and there were 2 weird blobby beings lying there, about the size of average dogs. They looked like Jabba the Hutt's young nephews or something, maybe. But they were also partially "phased through" the concrete there. They seemed to be telepathically telling me that if I jumped right there, I could fall through into a lucid dream. I then indeed went lucid, and decided to take them up on it, so I jumped at the spot, fell through the ground there, and immediately found myself falling through darkness. It seemed like I was falling perpetually, like I would never hit the ground... that there was no ground. This went on for some time. I was still lucid, but was hoping there would be more to the dream than this, and began peering into the darkness intently. After a while I could just begin to make out some red girder-like structures in the gloom. I focused on bringing some light in, or willing the scene to change, and what do you know, there was suddenly light in my immediate area (or I moved into a lit area of this void). And there were those red girder structures all around me, close to me, now. (Imagine a building under construction, made of red steel beams, but M.C. Escher was the architect; the structures were convoluted and nonsensical, with junctions at right angles, but forming a tangle of lines that really made no sense as buildings, floating in space against a black void.) I no longer seemed to be falling but was floating among these structures -- or perhaps you could say they were falling with me. In any event, it was like I was in a zero-G environment. I kept floating through these structures, pushing off of one, here and there, and eventually came upon what looked like floating pieces of rooms, as if they were torn apart by a tornado; a partial floor attached to part of a wall, etc. I found some boxes on some of these room bits, and began looking through one. I found a piece of paper with a phone number on it. I thought about trying to remember the number for after I woke up, but decided it would probably be too hard to do that, even though it seemed stable at the time. Perhaps I should have at least tried, and was letting my pessimism get the better of me. I suppose I wanted to keep exploring, and didn't want to sit there trying to memorize it. I floated around a bit more, but shortly woke up, anyway.

With Dreamwalker, invoke your other imaginary senses. For example, imagine the sounds, tactile sensations etc. (whichever is your strength) and work with those. The goal of Dreamwalker isn't a strong visualization, but primarily to disassociate from your physical body, location, and senses. I hope that helps!

Interesting that this technique is called the dream walker technique. In my head, a dream walker is a person who can freely enter their dreams from sleep, and even pull objects from said dream into the real world. Something we all wish was possible.

Feeling extremely thankful for finding this channel. I have been trying lucid dreaming for 3 days, even though I haven't see one, I have been seeing some really high vivid dreams. I think all I need is more Reality Check practice to get the first "non-accidental" lucid dreams. Cuzz the only lucid dreams I have had were before I became interested in these lol.

Thanks bro. I finally had a lucid dream. However I had it like 3 hours after falling asleep. Maybe it happened because I have a bit of disordered sleep patterns. I work as a night shift receptionist of a hotel and it's one night work, one night home. Anyways, I fell asleep somewhere at 22:00 and woke up at 1:00. I stayed for some minutes and tried to fall back asleep so I would wake up at 5am for WILD lucid dream. However, I suddenly opened my eyes and felt an unexplainable urge to check my phone over a football match that had ended. I did and i noticed something that wasn't right. One goal had been scored at half time, but that was impossible because i had seen the full half time before I fell asleep. I did the nose pinch reality test and found out that I was lucid dreaming. Unfortunately I got too excited and woke up. So do you think it's normal that I got my dream after only 3 hours of sleep. Not to mention that this WILD dream felt more real than any DILD's I have had before becoming interested on LD. Thanks

Happy Holidays, Daniel! Question. I have become lucid with regained awareness while walking down the stairs from my bedroom to my home’s first floor in the dream state twice ths week. I haven’t actively employed using the dream walker strategy, but I am thinking this is a strong slap upside my head to use it or some variant. Should I try the technique as presented in your excellent vid or a variation since I am becoming lucid on my stairs? 🤔
@LucidDreamPortal
8 ай бұрын
Happy holidays to you too Chuck!!! I'd definitely recommend integration of the stairs into the technique if that's feasible, it's always a good idea to work with whatever your mind gravitates towards. It's also proven itself as a stable dream scene, so absolutely run with it (well dream walk!). Don't be afraid to be creative with techniques as long as the basic principles are in place. Thank you and have a wonderful happy new year!

When I am performing the reality checks, do I imagine them working or not? Wouldn't plugging my nose in the visualization lead to me falsely believing I am in a dream, as my physical nose is untouched? Another question is about the clock. If i imagine the clock showing an impossible number such as 88:88, why would it be different when I enter the dream if the expectation is that the clock would show 88:88? Also, what if I visualize myself in the bed, tricking my brain into thinking that I am dreaming? Why would I be able to see myself suddenly in bed if I am dreaming?

Unfortunately that's not a very reliable reality check. I'd recommend using one that has been proven more effective, otherwise you'll probably miss out on a lot of chances for lucidity. It's a great visual aid for a film but unfortunately not at all practical for real world lucid dreaming. Sorry to burst that bubble, but it will save you disappointment

Hello! I have 2 questions; 1. I tried this for 25 minutes at 6AM (went to bed at midnight) but couldn’t fall asleep - do I need to be very tired for this to work? My body was paralyzed and I got really close but couldn’t enter the dream. 2. My transition from waking life to dream is always… very wild. I find it nearly impossible to stay relaxed due to my increased heartbeat and ringing in my ears. Do you have any tips for staying relaxed or entering the dream so fast I won’t even notice those things?

Wow a brilliant idea ... tomorrow I will equip my bathroom with a digital clock .. :) At minute 7:59 you say according to the translator: Remember not to use it during the day, otherwise you will build up negative expectations! What exactly is meant, the technology not used during the day, or the placed objects? Greetings from Germany
@LucidDreamPortal

The placed objects. Anything you want to use for dream control should be items that are unused when awake. Otherwise you will program your mind with "daytime expectations", in other words, they will behave the same way in dreams as you have learned they behave in waking life.

Thank you for the quick answer, okey understand now! Your channel offers so much, devour 3-5 videos a day, everything from the beginning ^^ My dream memory has been increasing every day since I wrote the dream diary as intensely and in detail as you described it, I very much hope that I can get back to it soon! I slept very badly due to excessive consumption, there was a time when I was clean, I sometimes had 2-3 lucid dreams a week, currently none, I've been clean again for 3 months and hope it will be again !?
