What I find funniest looking back on this is that someone MUST HAVE had to teach Paul how to setup and use a PC, the internet, so on as he's mentioned many times that he neither has the internet at home, nor a smartphone nor a computer lol

I find it strangely comforting that lockdown obviously affected them all. Not their best season but none of us were genuinely right in the head I fear by this point in time.

I wasn’t affected by lockdown and had to go to work every day. I envy you people who got to participate. It’s just too bad none of you did anything productive.

@@The_Gnome_Chomskee Even people who did go to work were affected, although it depends a lot what country you were in. A lot of people found themselves working from home and having to put in more hours to achieve the same thing. Lots of people did many productive things while not being allowed to go out. Some more worthwhile than others. Living in a flat, having children being alone each had its own complications.

@@wizlez I think you may have misunderstood me. I was pointing out that something can be not as good as other things but still be the best in it's category. I think this was unlike the TV shows because of them not being in the same place. Also a topical news show will by definition have difficulties if most of the world is on lockdown. I actually found it comforting to see that they were all going through the same kind of minor emotional breakdown as I was.

Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." I do not understand why they even bothered with this series, it was awful to watch at the time and it is even more awful to watch now knowing that all the lockdowns and isolation was pointless. Some of us with a free thinking brain knew it at the time because the virus was an AIRBORNE virus which meant it did not matter if you were six inches apart or sixty miles and given that all buildings are ventilated lockdowns and isolating was a waste of time too.
