There was like 1 km to the finish so I would guess so. Kept going so that the fire wouldn’t spread :D But yeah probably didn’t notice it.

some of them have the m3 engine (S50B30) and some have the 325I engine (M50B25). Its crazy how much power they can get out of a basic M50, best i have seen had 350hp/340nm. Can't say what they have done for sure, but i'm thinking it would be something like this: High compression forged pistons, i'd say probably about 11.5:1 - 13.5:1 static comp ratio. Steel h beam rods B28 crank with 84mm stroke (only done to m50s obv) Balanced rotating assembly Harmonic crank balancer (so that the engine doesn't shake itself to death during high rpm use) I heard it helps a lot with the longer 84mm stroke. Head porting, probably not shaping the ports much just taking care of the sharp edges etc. Bigger valves? with multi angle cut seats Stiffer valve springs Proper size cams matching the flow stats of the ports. MLS headgasket I have heard of people using the m3 itbs on the m50. some just use the stock M50 manifold as it is pretty good. (M3 has itbs from the factory) Exhaust headers Usually one 2,5" or 3" exhaust pipe with one muffler in the back.
