Always wondered if IMO process was just propogating bacteria already on the rice. I think this video confirms that theory
@TradingWithHunter

Its actually not. the reason for the paper is so the baceria and spores in the air can pass through and propagate on the rice

Where did you store it after putting the rice in. Did you put it outside? I've seen other people bring it out in the woods and out if there.
@RealOrganic

You dont actually need to go to woods to store it, just store it anywhere that it cant be reach by sunlight
@KellyZanghiClarkLifestyle

normaly its put out in the woods so its able to pick up INDIGENOUS MICROBES from the local area aka (woods right by ur house) i imagine the rice has a really hard time accumulating local microbes with that heavy stock paper & box while sitting inside ...... and usually the box is to keep pests ( mice or small creatures) from eating ur rice (or starting material) while its in the woods...... i thought u haaad to put the box out in the woods or at least outside- how else would local microbes get onto the rice.... the idea is to get as much as possible- this seams like a weird take that would achieve a very small & limited amount of microbes- watch chris trump if u want accurate imo info & much better results, faster...... u dont HAAVE to put it out side/under a bush/ or in the woods, but its a probably several times better if you do.

I would assume this is more of a horticulture IMO for indoor? its a bit more "Clean", the other strategies i have seen where guys bury it under ground, i would probably assume the underground burying is more beneficial for outdoor gardens?

No, its still the same. The idea is to seal it properly without flies or other insects going through it. Weather you bury it or not, its still the same.

@ChickenNugNugz2
3 жыл бұрын
@@said.skopal it's a culture of all or most of the IMO in the specific spot you place the bait. It will change on area, temperature, altitude etc and even 2 collections a few meters appart may have different microbes. It's a broad spectrum, and realistically there are probably tonnes on uncatalogued microbes you collect, so microbes not previously studied. In Addition, the know microbes will be specific strains only available in your local area due to thousands of generations in the specific location

Yea. There was no inoculation with soil microbe culture, just whatever spores were on the rice and in the air.
