Instructions:
Preparation of the dough:
🍶 In a large bowl, mix 100 ml warm water and 100 ml warm milk.
🥄 Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of sugar to the liquid mixture and stir until completely dissolved.
🥚 1 egg yolk incorporate it into the mixture of liquids.
🌾 Add 350 grams of flour to the mixture of liquids, kneading until you get a homogeneous dough. Continue adding flour until the dough is no longer sticky. Cover it and let it rest.
Preparation of the filling:
🍖 In a large pan, saute the onion and garlic in a little oil until golden.
🍖 Add the minced meat and cook until it browns and the liquid evaporates.
🧂 Season with salt, pepper and paprika (if using). Leave to cool.
Forming the pies:
🍽️ After resting, remove the dough from the bowl. Cut small pieces of the dough and form balls.
🥖 Roll each dough ball with a rolling pin to get thin sheets.
🍞 Place a sheet of dough on the oiled work table and roll it out as thin as possible.
Assembly and cooking:
🧅 Put a portion of meat filling on the edge of the dough sheet.
🔥Roll out the pie sheet: Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough until it becomes a thin, almost transparent sheet.
🔥Make cuts: Make four cuts on the dough, two on each side.
🔥Add the filling: Put the filling on the edge of the dough sheet.
🔥Fold the edges: Fold the side edges of the dough over the filling.
🔥Fold to the middle: Roll the pie to the middle of the sheet.
🔥Refold: Fold the dough again to create a layer.
🔥Finish the fold: Fold the pie one more time and fold one last time to form the final pie.
🍳 Heat a large pan with a little oil.
