The north east has so much to offer visitors. I live here and never tire of its beauty.

My ancestors came from the Knarsdale/Slaggyford area and some were gate keepers for the Featherstonehaugh family who owned the castle. I cannot believe I am looking at the land of my ancestors this is unreal I must visit one day. Thank you for this video it is much appreciated!

My wife was a native of these parts and we've visited most of the places featured in your video. Well done on a professional and informative video, I learned quite a few things, thank you.

Was great to relive the sights of the region. Dunstanburgh castle is my favorite. Last there in 1991. Great video.

Thank you very much for the informative video. This is really an impressive landscape - so green, blue and fresh. I'd really like to travel there sometime with a car and good hiking boots!

When hiking the Northumberland coastal path, I became infuriated. There is a lack of coastal campsites, but there is a plethora of caravan sites, chalet sites, and frigging golf courses! 'No camping' signs abound. Yeah, right. Northumberland is wonderful. If you're willing to ignore signs, you'll love exploring. Got spied by a farmer while in his woods. He just trundled on by, on his tractor. I was away before he came back. The 'no camping' sign, in the sand dunes, was at an excellent height to tie my tarp!
