@@Xentradi97 most controlled tournaments are still considered fights. The joke here is that, while other systems also fight under rules, TKD's rules are so watered that it just morphs from a "fight" to a "game". The line is drawn arbitrarily, but most people would consider WTF TKD a game.

Guys is it possible to start at 20, having zero flexibility and start, get good at kicks ?
@siddhantamallick6837
4 жыл бұрын
Yes, starting at the age of 20 will be the same as starting at the age of 5, even if you have zero flexibility, your training will include exercises that will make you flexible and good at kicking. Getting good at kicks not only depends on flexibility but also on the technique that you will be taught. So just join a good coaching center or class, it does not matter upon your physical fitness. (Pro tip: At first it will be a hard time for you, but just dont quit the results that you will get will hugely amaze you !)

Taekwondo is literally useless in an actual dight if you havent incorporated training with another art like karate or boxing....beat the shit out of a black belt national champion in mix fight..im a blue belt tkd guy but iv trained a bit in boxing and judo...he kept fly kicking me barely touching me and backing off...gave him a full thrust kick..he didnt get up after that.
@trillmui
3 жыл бұрын
actually in the right context it can be useful, i mean if you’re quick enough a roundhouse kick or double kick can be all it takes, and most taekwondo curriculums are starting to integrate boxing into they curriculum, plus taekwondo realistically teaches dexterity and how to think in fighting situations, realistic or not
