I’m really interested in my designs may well look to get a sub on there soon. Are the mock ups of the actual product I can sell eg Bella canvas and Gildan 18000 or are the mockups just generic ?

It is interesting that you use a comma , to represent half, like 12,5, where we use a period . to represent that 12.5. I just found that interesting, I know we do things differently, here is the USA, so I like to see what you guys, over the pond, do. I also love some of the pronunciations of certain words. Sometimes, it takes me a second to realize what you're saying. To be fair, I am a little slow sometimes. 😂 Thanks Phil. I am so glad you made this, because with all the tools out there, I have no idea what to do with them, so I appreciate this.

I expected a lot of comments but not one about the commas😆The pronunciation can also be down to the fact that English isn't my first language. But yes it's definitely a British accent😅 I hope the video helped give you a better overview of tools out there!

Ahh, I didn’t spot that English isn’t your first language 😮 but yes, the comma usage with numbers gives you away! In the UK we use decimal points (periods, full stops). Great video as usual. Thank you!

Excellent overview. Thanks for doing it! To my American ears, I would have never guessed that English wasn’t your first language. If you get tired of POD, you could perhaps write a book on language learning. 😊

I use most of the tools you introduced in your video and for me it would be the one missing from your line-up which is Canva. I keep going back to Canva on daily basis although I have paid for all the other tools but they can't beat the versatility and the content of it. It is by far the most helpful tool, whether if it's for creating a banner for a website, automate my social media posting or any type of creative work.

@@PhilipAnders I use Affinity suite for when I want to get really deep into it. I find it excellent value for money, at the moment is about £90 for all the new V2 suite, one off payment and you can use it on Windows, MACOS and IOS. For you as a KZitem content creator Canva will be even a better value proposition as it has tons of content. I wouldn't use Canva strictly for POD but overall Canva is what brings a business together in terms of versatility. It is definitely something you should have a look at + you can have 5 team members to share the account with with the same privileges as you. Try it and see if works for you!

I got the Merch Informer deal this Black Friday, 40$/6months for the Pro subscription which includes the upload automation. I thought this was the best deal for your buck out of all this year (of course with low budget).

Does MyDesigns handle the entire process, or do I need to go to Printify and upload the design there too? Is MyDesigns only for mockup purposes, including title, description, and tags? I apologize for posting the question here. It was originally intended for your other video labeled "MyDesigns to Etsy." However, I found all of your videos to be really interesting, so I kept watching them and ended up here. You are a great tutor, and I appreciate you teaching us. Thank you!
@PhilipAnders

Thank you very much!! MyDesigns is a Printify alternative which makes the whole process less time consuming. MyDesigns connects you with printers just like Printify does, so no need to upload the design on both ;)

As a person with no experience in using automatic uploaders, I am wondering if these tools can fill out tags, descriptions, and titles for me too? I am just curious how this can be done technically. Uploading the artwork may not be that difficult itself, but what about filling out tags, descriptions, and titles?
@PhilipAnders
Жыл бұрын
So the way it works is you provide the title, description & tags once within the tool and it gets saved. Then the tool uses that info for every future upload to any marketplace & fills out the listings on its own. Does that answer your question?

Have you heard of people being shadow banned on Google, with their Redbubble shops? What is happening is Google is giving some stores a "no index" tag and some people believe it may be from using automatic uploaders. I am not sure what is going on, but if your store is hit with it, your Redbubble store won't be seen by someone doing a Google search. Your store will still be available in Redbubble, and you can still get Redbubble organic traffic, but that is it, you won't get google traffic. You would have to advertise it yourself, basically, on social media, and hope you get some sales through that. Anyway, I worry about using automatic uploaders, because of that, at least on Redbubble, anyway. I have a really good free research plan, my problem is uploading, I am getting faster, but it is the worst part for me.
@PhilipAnders
Жыл бұрын
I have heard of that before yeah. You can always find a way that works best for you. I don't use upload automation for amazon for example, which is annoying but I prefer it that way. You can always automate uploads to some new platforms and keep redbubble manual ;)
