Did you go all the way to the top of the monolith, most people just climb near the top but it becomes more of a challenge to go to all the way to the top.🤷🏻♂️ Bernal Is very small but they have a lot of gifts and souvenirs that are very affordable compared to San Miguel de Allende 😁 ✌️👍🇲🇽
@EatBailaTravel

No we didn't go all the way to the top we didn't have enough time to do it. Next time we will hire someone to take us all the way to the top but meanwhile we are going to start practicing rock climbing to go up that way. I believe we need to hire someone to get to the very top because we went all the way up until we couldn't anymore and there was nobody up there offering to take us all the way up.

The best gorditas I have ever had in my life were eaten in Bernal. You guys are doing a great job. I am a retired ESL teacher who spent 43 years teaching Latino kids. I know that you guys were never in ESL classes but I'm still PROUD of you guys. You always make me happy. Keep spreading the good words about the Home Land of my Heart ----Mexico. I have a house in Queretaro and love the city. I am currently in the States taking care of my 97 year old mother. I look forward to the day I can return home.

Lee buenos días! We are craving a nice warm gordita right now. We highly recommend this gordita one Gorditas spot in Querétaro! They are out of this world. I, kevin, did have ESL classes our first language was Spanish until we were 2-3rd grade. So i was placed in a ESL program to transition to English.Wish you the best amigo! If you don’t mind us asking where in the states are you in?

A fun and picturesque video! I will share it with friends and family! Jorge and I spent a couple of days in Bernal three years ago, but you two have opened our eyes to cool things we can do there, so we'll go back! Six weeks weeks from 'tomorr-y" we leave for Querétaro! ¡AJÚA! :-) We're going to take leisurely three-day road trip down to go down there with Buddy ... we'll check into the Hotel Flamingo Inn, our temporary home for a few weeks while we look at rental homes in Zibatá. I can't tell y'all how encouraging this is! Un abrazote a los dos, queridos amigos. ¡Saludos de Jody (Pepe en español) desde Dallas!

Joseph thanks for watching we are happy to help with your transition to Queretaro. We have maybe one perhaps two vlogs left on Queretaro. Our last trip was Bernal and Tequis and it was very convincing that Queretaro should be our future home. We love wine and being surrounded by vineyards seems ideal. We hope your knee surgery recovery is improving day by day. Saludos desde Aguascalientes

Loving your videos! We visited stunning Bernal on a cheese and wine day tour from Queretaro and loved it. We had two hours to wander, so we walked all over town and visited a nice terrace. We still say we should have ditched the tour and stayed overnight. I have to hike the Pena! (PS, we have one of the world's largest monoliths in our back yard - the Chief in Squamish, BC).

Thanks Dan! We didn't even get the chance to talk about wine and cheese because we are saving all that content for the wine vlog that we are working on. This is the second Monolith we have visited and they have both been very impressive we have been to sugar loaf in Rio and now this one maybe someday we can make it out to the Chief in Squamish.
Grinded coconut filled with dry lemons? We have seen cocadas but not filled with lemons. Where did you try those?

@@EatBailaTravel They're actually lemons/limes (big ones), filled with coco rallado I did try em on "La Marquesa" national Park. Which is halfway trough the Mexico/Toluca freeway (I believe). There's a nice camping site and horse riding. Pretty cool. I live in Denver Colorado and weather is similar to that of Mexico City
