Great video! You deserve many more views. How much do they weigh? I've been trying to purchase these headphones for a long time, but international shipping with customs is absolutely crazy, adding an extra $90 to the cost. I am not sure if I would still choose these headphones instead of true wireless, but at least I would like to try.

Another video for Quest 3 Headphones, nice! Just saw JayBratt's video yesterday and wasn't really taken by the current options and sadly those Vive Cosmos Headphones don't sell here in Germany... well guess im still stuck using my Koss Mod, still better than the default audio by miles!

@@therealdrecu those koss porta pros sound fantastic. I was doing that for a while. There's also a mod to install the Vive Deluxe Audio Strap headphones themselves, using 3D printed parts. I've done it, but it's quite taxing.

I did a video comparing my Quest 3 with Vive DAS vs Bobo S3 with $20 clip on ear Koss KSC75s (inspired by KZitemr Blunty). Unlike what others tell me about the Porta Pros, I find the KSC75s louder and clearer than my DAS, which really surprised me. Eventually I might try 3D printed arms for the KSC75s, but I'm happy with them clipping on my ears for now.

@@EndersVRcade yea exactly im using the KSC75 as well and bend the metal rod thing to fit my ears, not a perfect fit but when they are on your ears it works fine imo - and the sound is just so much better! Just would love some sort of flip up, to go in and out. But i won't spend to much time tinkering on that, i just hope we get a nice solution from one of the companies (taking a big inhale of my hopium) ^^

Have you had the chance to test and review any (good) wireless earbuds for Quest 3? I have heard latency is an issue for most regular earbuds, but some supposedly work well. I'm such a stickler for over-ear headphones, I don't know what would annoy me more, earbuds or the on-ear headphones you're demonstrating in this video, but I suspect I'd prefer earbuds.
@bringhurstvr

@@AbleDefenseUS I haven't tried them yet, mostly because the thought of sharing buds with other people eeks me out, but I've heard others say the wireless ones designed for Meta work great.

The Quest3 built in audio is great for most games but since it lacks bass it just still isn't good in something like Beat Saber. I am currently using the Vega T1 earbuds which sound great and have charging passthrough but I think I will get these. I prefer to use analog audio because of the zero latency and I won't have to be depended on charging them or using yet another app on my phone.

"It was at that moment, I realized, somebody should be designing a Quest 3 adapter for Willcox NV helmet mounts.." Imagine if you could immerse yourself in a VR tactical shooter wearing a cheap Amazon knock-off bump helmet with a replica NV mounted Quest 3 and wearing headphones that resemble the Peltor ear protection with comms that the military uses. Dual-market that stuff at Airsofters and VR nerds.

It's not that hard to do yourself too. I use the same style hemet for my Ultralight as a backup helmet. Its a nice modular helmet design that has a bunch of uses. You were talking about fitting the HMD to the helmet via the Night Vision goggle mount on the front of the helmet right? Then using over ear headphones mounted to the rails on the sides, right? The only downside I see is it would get kinda hot and fog up the lenses, but you could still sell a bunch on Ebay for 150 or more. The only thing I'd add is the B100 upgrade from BOBO VR that would mount to the rear of the helmet and give it swappable 10000mah battery packs.

I have these headphones based on your recommendation and they are awesome. The nuances I’m hearing in games is wild. I have to jack the volume up 3 extra bars to where I usually have the stock volume at, but they are plenty loud for me. I didn’t have to modify them with nail clippers as I think they fit perfectly fine on the Bobo S3 without modification. I also bought them on eBay for $55 USD

I just got the bobo s3 pro strap headband 3 days ago, and I seen where a lot of people complained about the noise. I turn all the way up to 100, and can even hear it. Maybe they fixed the issue with the recent orders. Cool headphones I may order these also. Thanks! I have the prism Vega t1 earbuds. Only used them once, but they work great as well. Made for vr. Thanks for the awesome video.

I'm turning it up to 100 lately. I don't know if the fans have calmed or I just got used to it. Either way, when the battery dies and the fan shuts down, it's downright hot and uncomfortable. I'm shocked at how necessary the fan has become. But the fan sound is amplified through the headphones. I don't know if it's acoustics or something electrical, but when the headset is in idle it's noticeable through these headphones. However, as soon a game launches it's either silent or not noticeable. Which is to say it's annoying when in the Meta menus, but when playing games it's a non-issue.

Cool video and great setup! If I already have an HTC DAS head strap, is there an adapter that will allow me to use it with my BoboVR S3 Pro?
@bringhurstvr
10 күн бұрын
@IgraphyRupage Yeah, I've done it before. But it's a hassle. There's a 3D printed adapter that you can screw the headphones onto in order to fit it with other head straps, but it's a nightmare. I don't have the file location, but here are the photos that lead me there. These photos are related to the Quest Pro and these guys were drilling into the strap. But with some epoxy and other BoboVR fasteners on Etsy I'm sure you'll find a way that's less intrusive. drive.google.com/drive/folders/1cWd40MhLnIfa9k4RNc1k7wBaHeaL3JpH

I use the 50 dollar q2 over ear headphones that clip onto the strap with a 6 inch 3.5mm 90 degree extension for 6 bux. Little bit of doublesided tape so they dont slide around on the strap and some white wire clips that stick to the unit for neatly tucking the wires. They are loud enough and nobody else can hear me play them. One advantage they have is they don't push on my earlobes like the style in this video. After 5 hours I dont have the same pain as I did when I tried the on ear style.
@bringhurstvr

@@jamesordwayultralightpilot huh, they don't hurt my ears, and because they can slide vertically I can keep them off my earlobes. But all that matters is you're happy with the solution.
