What do you think? Is this the best argument for atheist or is there a better one? 🤔🤔

Okay, if God truly wants us to have free will there would be no punishment for rejecting him.

St. Thomas is so good at refuting theses kind of people. Just like he refuted the Pagan Muslims. I love St. Thomas. Glory to Jesus Christ

The example you give was a choice but most of us who suffer had no choice in it, the suffering was forced upon us.

Anneliese Michel was not possessed. She was diagnosed with epileptic psychosis and depression. Only after 5 years of medical treatment did Anneliese's parents turn to religion. The priests began performing exorcisms and the family stopped consulting doctors. Anneliese stopped eating food and died of malnourishment and dehydration after 67 exorcism sessions. At the time of her death, the 23 year old Anneliese weighed only 66 pounds. Her parents and priest were convicted of negligent homicide. The case of Anneliese Michel is not one of possession, but of medical neglect.

That seems to be the best argument you can think of for and against it. Here is where your argument falls apart which isn't by far the best argument you could make or an atheist could make against it. Was god powerless to create good without evil? Could he have created a world where what felt good was good and brought ultimate satisfaction to all our senses and benefited humanity ,our environment and everything in it creating more of an incentive to do good? Why would evil be necessary to create good when this god could have created good as you would claim a heaven and as you would claim this god is perfect. How could anyone tell whether or not evil happens because a god permits it from a world that has evil in it because there is no god? So that leaves you with having to prove a god exists and because you fail to do that is the best reason for not believing one. If evil allows someone to be tormented for all eternity what could be good about that and for allowing it and what makes it moral when this god could have opted to create such a mind where it was not prone to making such a damning decision ( like perfection would have) ,could not have had the option of hell on the table, or not create anyone that would make such a damming choice yet your scenario is the one this god opted for and in no way is that moral, good or no less a reality that this god has chosen not us

The Bible says God created evil. This is what gives us free choice. Which is good!
