This has answered my question I had during the week..the question was that if there's this specific goal that you want to focus on,it's a short term goal ,must one stop investing and focus on that goal or must one do both even when you feel like if I stop investing then you might reach that goal quicker Saving and investing are both significant

Thanks for this Nozi..you are a God sent at this very moment for me💃😊 whats your take on banking with different banks based on their interest. Eg for short term savings put my money with fnb then put R100k with absa then a tfsa with another bank? Is it wise?

Hi Nozi... Do I deposit monthly (let's say I put R100 monthly) or its just a once off, where you deposit the certain amount and wait for your goals.
@TalkingMoneyWithNozi

Savings accounts allow you to deposit everything month. Only FIXED deposit accounts are once-off

Hi Nozi ,thank you for info ,well explained.I want to ask is saving in your bond account to kill interest charged to you is it also good? If someone had a choice can they choose both saving in your bond to kill interest charged to you and gain interest on saving account.
@TalkingMoneyWithNozi
Жыл бұрын
Yes it is good. But be careful with that because the bank can take that money and put it into the bond if they want. For example if you lose your job and stop paying your bonds, the bank will take those savings.
