Crispy Oven-Baked Chicken Thighs
This recipe is so simple and easy to make, you’ll want to make it every day! I literally season the chicken thighs, give them a quick sear, then put them in the oven for just about 40 minutes. With a quick sear, these chicken thighs always come out incredibly crispy on the outside. Tender and juicy on the inside. And with this seasoning rub combo you won’t go wrong.
3 ½ lbs Chicken Thighs (Skin-On and Bone-In)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon lemon pepper (salt free)
1 teaspoon dried/fresh thyme leaves
2 teaspoon olive oil
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Wash chicken thighs with about 1 tablespoon of white vinegar.
Trim off excess fat and pat the chicken dry.
In a large bowl add the chicken thighs and seasonings and mix until each piece of the chicken is coated properly.
Over medium/high heat in a cast iron skillet sear each side of the chicken thighs for 2 to 3 minutes…
Transfer to the preheated oven uncovered and cook for 30 - 40 minutes.
Serve with your favorite sides & vegetables!
