Duded I loved it, You had me going at first thought you where sneaking around some of the local farms poaching produce. But wasp's Who would have guessed it even here in New Zealand I have not struck this problem are these native or a invasive species ?

Never understood the egg wash if the tart is going to be flipped in the end. Been making this for a year now after watching cooking shows.. I think Julia Child put softened butter spread all over pan and spread sugar over butter and then apples. Stove top on high for ten minutes and pulled off to cool a little otherwise pastry melts.
