What a GREAT trip, Kenny! Once again, I was much more impressed with the scenery than I ever expected. Sure, there was some prairie, but- boy was I suprised to see that waterfall, the gulch, trees, hills & even some spots that looked quite mysterious! Very enjoyable for one who has not been anywhere near there. A sincere Thank You Very Much! for taking us along with you, I sort of expected the steam to run out on the last part of the trip- but- really good footage, enjoyable to check out a few (various) campgrounds and some surprisingly fun stops along the way! AND, it must feel great to be home! I liked the centering the camper trick- Scha-Weeet!!! A buncg of outstanding episodes my friend- you really make it easy for us to travel with you- good host and all that.

Drove through S. Dakota in '95 from one end to the other. Came through the Badlands, spent the night in Rapid City and got up the next morning and toured Mt Rushmore. Spent a little time through the Black Hills and drove across The Buffalo nat'l Grassland towards N Dakota. Enjoyed the whole trip but didn't have time to stay long enough to enjoy anything since I had a timetable to be on a job in ND. I have to say that Mt Rushmore was an awesome site to see in person!!!

I agree. I have watched documentaries about Jesse James, and there is speculation on whether or not the story of the jump is true. I say the stories add to the larger-than-life characters we have made these guys out to be. Just like Billy the kid, Wyatt Erp or Buych Cassidy, we romanticize the stories of the old west, but I like it that way.

I Normally put the camper away in December January February. The last few years we have been seeing temps as low as 50 below. It's normal to see sub 0 temps for weeks straight. But this winter I think I'm going to do some ice fishing with the camper. Just gotta wait for the right ice. If I'm going to continue the KZitem channel I'll have to figure out some kind of camper content throughout the winter.

Another great video. I have a friend that used the inexpensive rubber wheel chocks from Harbor Freight to center his camper in the bed. He cut them down to size, cut the ridges off, and mounted them (4) with industrial 3M tape. He leaves the chocks in place all the time. I have a solid truck cap on my 2500 and have been thinking about a rear view camera for my truck that would replace the mirror. What brand/model do you use? How has it performed any issues? Safe travels sir.

This is the link to the camera. www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07ZF9FK6W?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title I absolutely love it. No issues at all. I bought an extra camera that is mounted by my 3rd brake light for when the camper is off. The camera has so many awesome features. It is touch screen and you can adjust the camera up and down depending on what you're looking at. It is constantly recording the front and back view. It retains around 8 hours of footage then drops that and starts re-recording over the top. It allows you to split the screen and see the front view and rear view. It is recording audio as well as video. It uses a microSD card for videos. The quality of the picture is perfect. I would recommend this camera for sure. It is a must have with the camper.

On flat ground, with my 250 pounds, it will do 33 mph. The fastest I have had the bike, down hill, was 47 mph. The bike still felt smooth and planted to the ground. The problem is that the brakes dont feel adequate after 35 mph.

I have only ridden the Rad Power electric bike. I bought it because there are a lot of companies that make aftermarket components for the bike. There are a lot of bike manufacturers that keep their products proprietary. Rad power bikes allows other companies to make aftermarket parts to upgrade the bike to make it faster and more powerful. The bike was great stock but I can never leave anything alone

AU’s $1.85 a litre here at the moment got too $2.40 for diesel when the war started in Ukraine
@KennyOfAllTrades
Жыл бұрын
I wouldn't be able to afford 1.85 a litter. Our diesel is 3.79 a gallon. I was over a dollar less when I started the channel. We did see 6 bucks a gallon for a while. That really hurt the wallet. A lot of my camping trips take between 40 and 80 gallons of fuel. I'm thankful the price is dropping. Hopefully, you guys get some relief soon.

what do you get for gas mileage
@KennyOfAllTrades
2 жыл бұрын
There's a lot of different contributing factors. What I'll say is if I'm driving through Northern Minnesota at 55mph, hand calculated the truck gets 13.5 miles to the gallon. 65 to 70 mph on the hwy truck gets 12.5 mpg. On the Interstate going 80 to 90 truck gets about 10.5 mpg. Out west in the hills it's around 11. Without the camper on the hwy truck gets between 17 and 18 mpg.
