I saw Brad's video earlier and thank you for highlighting this area. Most of the time, only Jalan Alor gets the coverage by international travellers. 33:42 That's the right way of enjoying Cendol. Many outsiders wrongly drinking it directly without mixing it properly and ended up not enjoying it with the right taste. 42:55 Cempedak is Jackfruit. Madu is translated as "Honey" so Cempedak Madu is another variation of jackfruit with better taste. Goreng means "Fried". It takes about 3 minutes to fry it in a really hot cooking oil. One of travelling tips that I can share for street food tour is to buy a small water bottle and wash your hand (or fingers) first before touching the food for hygiene purpose. Another tip is to have a paper napkin / tissue to hold food items especially the hot one like cempedak goreng so that you don't have to finish it one off (like Brad did) instead enjoying bit by bit.

Cendol is a SEA dessert which can be traced back to 12 century. In phillipine it calls halo halo, brunei, malaysia, singapore n indonesia called cendol, thailand - lot chong, vietnam - banh lot, myanmar - mont let song. The process is the same ie made from rice flour - extracted pandan leave (the green jelly) and mixed with coconut milk and palm or brown sugar (depends on the each country) and the rest of the mixtures are according to each country taste bud😊 Enjoy your stay here.

Malaysian will know where the market is if you mention the street name where the night market is. For instance the night market you just went to is call "PASAR MALAM JALAN TAR" = TAR STREET NIGHT MARKET.. and GORENG means " fried"
