While I can appreciate this for what it is, I think I'll stick to my tried and trusted rocket blower. it moves/pushes air instead of forcing it in a way that I know won't inadvertently get dust behind my glass. same thing for a sensor -much more gentle imo. but if i needed a portable blower to clean off a laptop or a desktop PC in the field? this would be perfect.

I hear you, I was hesitant using it on my camera gear initially too (for similar reasons). It's great for other electronic items though as you've said.

@@andrewsaraceni I second that! This comparison would be awesome to see! Kika 2 is very well constructed and strong!

I seriously need to get one of these on my landscape, Seascape photographer and a lot of my dust and sand is quite heavy granule on the camera so definitely gonna order one of these. Had a look on eBay and I'll find one in Australia. Thanks for your video I've always wondered why we don't make an electronic one. To be honest I just feel the handheld one is rather ineffective. I'm just gonna make sure it's safe for a sensor of a camera though what's your experience on that?

No problem! It's definitely safe, just have to make sure you're careful when using it (i.e. use lower power setting, keep some distance away from the sensor).

@@andrewsaraceni thanks 🙏 I’ll probably just use my normal handheld one for the sensor, but use this one for the outside of the camera where the dirt and grit is a little bit more difficult to remove

hope you get your hands on the NITECORE BB2 to compare them.

I've heard about that model...that would be a good comparison.

Thanks, very interesting. But I have a stupid question: Are you supposed to use the brush attachment on the sensor? I wouldn’t think that’s wise if you’re using it on other camera surfaces.

No problem! And not a stupid question - you would only use the blower (no brush) on the sensor, and not touch it directly. The brush you could use on other objects though to clean the body of the camera, buttons, switches, etc.

@@andrewsaraceni Got it, thanks. BTW I’ve been watching your other videos about shooting video with the 7R5 and it’s great info. I’m behind the video curve, trying to educate myself! Thanks again

You might be able to purchase it from them directly? I haven't ended up replacing mine (it seems to last awhile just cleaning periodically).
