This 37-38mm case size watch range is stacked! Absolutely beautiful watches and very good choices by Teddy. As an owner of Spirit 37mm I fully agree that it's the sleeper pick for this year and quite possibly the best GADA watch out there right now in 2k or even 3k price range. Also thanks for pointing out that Nomos has released Club Sport in 37mm. I've been eyeing that 42mm model for a long time now but it has felt too big. This 37mm seems like a perfect fit (not too big but still has enough wrist presence for a sports watch). And by the way: These 37-38mm watches are not only for the people with small wrists. I have quite big wrists but I still prefer this case size over the typical 40mm size.

I bought the Grand Seiko Elegance SBGW287 a couple days ago to commemorate my first born son and me becoming a father. It's one of the two latest seasonal releases on the SBGW series that is modeled after the SGBW231. It's such a bold 37mm dress watch with a burgundy dial and red crocodile leather strap. My boy was born a couple weeks ago on 16 Nov. The SBGW287 was released the same exact month as my boy's birthday! It's nuts to have a not just a birth year watch but a birth month watch!

@@ninjasrose1653 I can pull off certain 40mm watches like my Seiko 5kx but most of the time my favorite size of watch is 36 mm. The PRX wears way bigger than it’s 40 mm would suggest. Thanks for the video and keep it going! I'd love to see 36, 35 and even 34mm. I realize with most brands there won't be much choice there, but a look down the "women's" catalogue might bring up more choices. Many of those aren't overtly "feminine" in their design and could also go for men who like the smaller sizes. (Of course I'm not saying it wouldn't be worth it to make these videos for women or nonbinary people as well, though the viewership might surely be smaller)

I feel that Grand Seiko offers alot of value. Grand Seiko spring drive movements are hand assembled and hand finished by Japanese well trained and skilled craftsmen to the highest level, unlike some of the Swiss watches that I know of that came off the machine assembly line. In my opinion, you can't really place a value on time pieces which are hand assembled and hand finished by humans. These are works of arts in my opinions. One of the few watch brands that I know of which are hand assembled are brands like Patek Philippe but how many people can really afford to buy such watches and keep them. Probably there are some who buy and sell the rare ones just for profit. Grand Seiko do offer models which are assembled by hand and yet the price points of these watches are still very much attainable by the working class people. When I was still a young kid like under 10 years old, I was quite ignorant back then and used to dislike quartz watches as I viewed these as low class cheap affordable watches but I'm starting to appreciate the hard work put into by skilled watchmakers. In the 1980s, when I was still young, I thought how nice it would be if mechanical watches would have the accuracy of quartz watches without sacrificing on the mechanical aspects of the watch. Never knew that Grand Seiko's spring drive technology was already in development back then and spring drive was born.

Currently wear a relatively cheap Longines LeGrande Classique Automatic (33mm) and previous gen Yacht Master 35mm (168622) -- the later which I find kinda big and too thick. The JLC Master Ultra thin is too big at 38.5mm as is the V-C Patrimony self-winding 36.5mm -- both also forces you into stinky leather with no bracelet offered.
