I watched this I think over a year ago when I was just learning about dreads. Now that I've had my own for 15 months, I'm ready to add some volume but couldn't remember how this process was done so I came back and watched again. Thank you so much! Now I'm not afraid to try it!❤

I LOVE your uploads! You look exactly like my niece who died of breast cancer in 1998. She was a gymnast too and had long kinky curly hair that looked like dreads when she didnt brush it. Thank you for sharing your method for adding volume. I watched your New Years makeover video which you touched on this and added 6 more DE dreads to mine using elastics. Keep up the good work! I look forward to it! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Some times I use the little spools of sewing elastic to tie in temp extensions, they are easier to tie than hair thread and invisible I’ve only found them in black or white, but I will also put the elastic thread through a hair needle and put a stitch through and tie off. Thank you for the sharing 🤲🏼🌀🤗✨

I slide a SE up to my root then crochet the loop closed. It does what the elastic does but I don’t have elastics breaking all the time 😂

Thank you so so much for sharing your knowledge with us! It's sooo helpful!! I'm definitely loving putting the single ended through my root- it just feels super solid and like a definitely won't lose it! Do you mind telling me which mannequin head you are using?

I got a gap ( bad sectioning) and it’s right up front of my head between two dreads. The front one wants to hang infront of my face but won’t stay back making it look like a big bald spot. How do I fix this?

Does anyone know how long you can leave SE synthetic dreads in your natural dreads for? I wash my real ones fully every three weeks. Will the synthetic dreads cause weak spots/thinning in that time without moving them around etc

Love your videos..very informative. I just ordered my first set of extension to give me some length to my 2 yr locs. Do I need to do maintenance before added them in? Also what is a good time frame to wear them before taken them out to redo em. My hair grows super slow. I maintain about ever 2-3 month.

Where do I look to see what's required to become a loctician in my state or if you need a full cosmetology license?
