The arm saddle is a grossly underused position in NoGi grappling which has an extremely wide range of offensive capabilities. It gives us the ability to entangle our opponents arms in a way that allows us to fluidly alternate between various forms of offense whereas the traditional method of attacking the arms from the bottom in Jiu jitsu really only offers us one. Here I demonstrate the main attack series I typically use when I first gain the position in addition to a good way to gain the position in the first place.
