Is it possible to print directly over the pocket and have it look good?

I really appreciate the fact that you compared the two. And didn't just show your product. You can really see the difference in quality, how quickly it was to set-up, and the overall process.

I print my hoodies with the small 10x12 platen, turn the hoodie sideways and rotate the artwork in garment creator. This works for sizes XS-2X hoodies. Also keeps the platen height around 2 and preserves all of your artwork details. Can't go wider than the 12" though, so that 16x10 size is pretty cool for oversized prints.

Agreed. We kept coming across order inquiries for much bigger prints since there is so much space on the chest of a hoodie, and it felt like such lost value and opportunity to not utilize all of it. So, we decided why not just make a platen that solves it! 😄 Thanks for stopping by!

What are your pretreatment settings for a hoodie?

Hello! Thanks for dropping in! With the our Mister T-1, we used level 3 bi-directional spray for thick black garments, and the pretreat solution we used is FBX 100 for Dark Garments. Let us know if you have any other questions or need any help with specific challenges! Our Instagram DM's @keyprintco are always open as well!

@@KeyPrintCo Interesting, I keep using the 1 bi setting for hoodies with the FBX100 F2100 optimized and i sometimes get the white boxing. Maybe the 3 will help.

@@culturecreate8691 Give the 3 a try and see if it improves! You can also try letting the hoodie rest under your heat press for 30 seconds or so prior to fully heat pressing it to start the absorption process of the pretreat without pressurizing it. Hopefully that will help!
