This was helpful, I’ve been stuck in this position quite a bit and have been trying to twist out but some body locks are real tight and it’s been hard to fight the hands. I never thought about simply shooting my arms up and around to get my shoulders higher and that move of taking your head to the ground and stretching the arm and getting control of the neck is awesome. Gonna try this as soon as I get stuck here again.

Awesome technique! Could you please go over the kipping escape from bottom mount? I struggle when people lift my head so I can't do the initial bridge before I start kipping

Great detail. Is there a reason why no one at high level is concerned with the footlock when the body triangle is mat side down? I've always been worried and try and switch my triangle when they force the triangle side down to threaten the foot lock. At high level I see you all have the triangle side down and never fear. Is it there isn't enough pressure to break it so you don't respect it, or is there a technique that makes it easily defendable?
