Have the same DR splitter. Works great. Sometimes you have to hit a few times, but electric is nice. Quiet and no smell. Love the table. Happy splitting!

I have a lot of fancy stuff for making firewood but in the end I always wind up right back at the beginning as to what I love the most about it all, and that is just being outside doing the work. There's just something rewarding to a man when you earn what you burn.

Great video, you have a nice setup. I have not used a kinetic splitter before but yours seems to works good. Terry

Prefer kinetic, fast, easy. Like your splitting table with adjustable height! 😉

That's exactly why I made the pallet table. I'm 6'4" and I'm not bending over to split wood. I can have the splitter at the perfect hight with it on the tractor.

I have a hydraulic splitter and it works for me. Not the fastest but quite often it takes all it has to split some of the knotty and stringy logs I tend to feed it. It is a 32 ton Cub Cadet. I can stand it vertical but much prefer horizontal splitting. At times I wish the wedge was not on the ram but that is required for the vertical mode. Not a dream splitter but its mine and I have used it for the last 25 years to heat my home. I would like to try a kinetic splitter.

32 Ton is a strong splitter and 25 years is a good run! Both splitters serve a purpose, there are some rounds that I can't crack, but I've got neighbors with hydraulic machines. For the most part, that little 10 ton gets through everything I throw at it. Thanks for the comment Frank.

Is the splitter electric? Am not seeing a power cord.

It is. If you look to the left of the splitter table, up against the fork lift plate, you'll see the plug. Love the electric splitter, nice and quiet!
