Perfect conditions, will we get to see the rest of this adventure?

Unfortunately not. I managed to pick up a bug of some sort and was violently sick on Y Garn (after which I felt amazing until I was sick again about an hour later). It was an absolutely scorching day which really took its toll on us and on Glyder Fach the mist came down. Due to the other two being knackered and me not being able to hold down any food or water, and the fact that it was misty and would be dark by the time we were heading up towards the Carneddau, we made the sensible decision to abort at Tryfan. Best decision of the day as it meant we spent the evening eating great food and drinking cold beer in our Airbnb instead of dragging ourselves over the pitch black Carneddau into the early morning hours and feeling like absolute crap. All in all a fantastic day out :)

Damn, Dave, look what you got yourself into. Why did you have to make _the_ best train surf series out there? lol. Now you got people willing and even eager to wait out a full decade to see you do it again.

Attempted twice, never weather even close to this. First time white out, second time drizzle with limited visibility.

I hear you, PlaneSIMple! I've tried and failed the 3000s many times where bad weather was a big factor. But don't presume good weather makes it easier! That day was ridiculously hot and we suffered because of it. The best conditions for the 3000s is dry but overcast with a mild breeze. Good luck on your 3rd attempt (whenever that might be) :)

Because I'm old school. And also because it fits in more footage than widescreen which cuts off the top and bottom.
