I flew halfway across the world to find the world's largest and smartest aquatic apex predator... so I could get in the water and learn all that I could about them. As a full time resident doctor and part time videographer from Canada, I wanted to create a small documentary to highlight the arctic herring migration - one of the most amazing events that takes place anywhere in the world. Hopefully this video can help draw attention to Orcas and inspire a few people to care about conservation efforts for aquatic ecosystems. The footage used in this video was a collaborative effort between myself and some of my fellow divers from the MS Sula during that trip. Some other shots from the video opening have been sourced from freely available platforms. Please feel free to repost and share the video as you wish for any presentations or events so long as it is done so to promote eco-conservation. Feel free to comment if you have any questions about anything!
