Come gather yourselves. Be privy to the eccentricities, and wiles presented to us through these stories of the Fae. It is these types of stories that are some of my favorite. It is like I get a glimpse in to the behavior of the good folk, see them act and react in certain situations, and hear how some have survived their encounters. Listen well, and perhaps you may also someday survive too…Thank you Scary Fair Godmother, a wonderful addition you your growing list of stories told! Until next time…

Thank you, Merlin! In the end it suddenly hit me that these stories do have something in common -- they all take place in the between or liminal space, so I made that the theme and the theme of my latest fairy lights entry. It's funny that I couldn't connect the stories until I was in the between myself and about to post them. ;)

Hi Friends, If you are looking for a unique and magical gift, you should check out the star maps from Under Lucky Stars. Basically you give them a date that is significant to you or your friend or loved one, like a birthday or the day you got married or engaged, and this company will create a unique star map for you that shows what the stars looked like in the sky at that exact moment, in the exact time and place of your choosing. This might be a fun and unique gift for anyone who is interested in astronomy or astrology or for anyone who just wants to commemorate a special date. I think it's kind of magical and would look great on the wall next to some fairy lights. If you do decide to purchase a star map, please click on this link: www.underluckystars.com/SCARYFAIRYGODMOTHER For every star map sold through this link, this channel will receive a small percentage. So, if you are buying a gift anyway, it's a great way to support this channel at the same time. :)

I had a similar experience as the first story irl. We, my dad, little brother (who was about 6 at the time) and I went for a walk atop a mountain. We were at the summit when I felt the wind pick up and could see from a far, rain clouds heading our way. I took my little brothers hand and we began our trek back toward the car. Skipping down volcanic rocky mounds (this Mt is a dormant volcano), oblivious to the fact that It would hurt to fall because ... we just felt like we wouldn't. It felt like we were gliding through the air, like the wind was carrying us. Our steps were feather soft when landing then leaping again. When we got back to the car we had to wait a bit for our dad who said he was watching us fly while he was struggling, almost stumbling down the gravely paths. I get that feeling every time a storm is brewing or in the midst of It but not like It was that day atop the mountain.

Ive had a couple of weird encounters in life. But the one that forever haunts me, is the old lady I saw walking down the farm field in England Brixworth. The sun was setting and I know there's a theory about fairies and the paranormal during sunset, being seen more easily. Don't get me wrong I could have just been seeing an elderly lady walking down a path as I passed in my dads car. I was old enough, in my 20s but the way she looked literally looked like fairy, or witch. She looked out of place, like her outfit was rags, but in a nice way, like it was dress but not quite and she had an old shawl on. Her hair was light colored and she was thin. Either she had run away from her house or care, or she was just an independent lady walking down a field path. She just looked so out of place, and I remember it didn't feel right, like I thought about what I saw for a while, oh and she wasn't close to the road, she was down the field, but in view. But I was in a moving car so I could hardly do anything. I know its not much, but to me the memory always sticks out whenever I hear others stories. Thanks for reading these, not sure I believe, but fairies will always find you, even if you don 't. I also just wanted to add that everyones says I'm off with the fairies, or I'm weird, so I love it. 😁🧚♂🧚🧚♂🧚♀🧚🧚♀🧚♂🧚

Regarding the first story- I am a northern California native and that experience is not unique. Many people can "fly" through the woods despite injuries, feeling connection and not alone. @@bumblebee0369 I experienced this a couple times when I was younger and locals just kind of accept that this is a thing that happens sometimes. We just know that weird shit happens in the woods here but that specific one is definitely a thing in northern California redwood forests. Humboldt and Mendocino counties are where I experienced this. It was like leaping extra extra long without effort, feeling very smooth and free with time around it not making sense. Almost anti-gravity. Injuries go away or are insignificant, also. Like people who shouldn't be able to run and jump and leap and move so fast, can. The story is really a great description.

@@deepwaters7242 This description actually sounds pretty damn close to something my family and I used to experience in a forest in central Wisconsin. My brother had a long fall and we were like holy! And he actually came out mostly fine (we thought he was a goner or a soon to be goner). There's times though were the air itself feels drugged. Suddenly, EVERYTHING becomes beautiful and mesmerizing. All worries abruptly fly out of the window. It can get kind of creepy though.

I just started watching these videos. Assuming any of these stories are actually real, it makes me wonder. All these entities seem very sensitive to what a person does in the woodland areas. I wonder about those unfortunate people that goe missing in these national parks/forests. Could some of these disappearances be linked to what a person did while there? Perhaps something as simple as littering would be offensive. It really makes me think. This may sound crazy to some, I'm sure, but any thoughts?

I was binging disaster videos during quarantine. There was one about this guy who was skiing on a mountain and if it could go wrong, it did go wrong. Eventually he crawled (literally) to civilization. Then there was one about a plane crash in out west in the US, endless fields of corn or whatever. Lots of little kids and parents on board a jet because of some deal the airlines had going at the time. One simple unnoticed flaw brought the jet down in this random field like something had reached up and snatched it and all those lives out of the sky. It makes me think that there used to be sacrifices to mountains, and there used to be a lot of blood spilled on the plains. I think in some places the ground is thirsty.

When I was 5 or 6 I'd ride the bus with mum or dad to visit the city or go to the Dr, and they'd be too glad to let me sit on the window seat , and I'd happily watch the trees and house fly by and the also watch the yachts and boats in the water as soon as the houses ended , and was so intrigued at the wheels of them big and small yachts and bigger boats , and thought wow buses and cars can ride on water too, how amazing , I dared not mentioned to anyone hence I'd be made fun of , so kept it to myself ,a year or so later my father passed away and I was sent to the river to wash the clothes he wore when he passed away with a heart attack, and afterwards sat on the riverside watching the small boats with the steering wheel and realised it was not a car but a boat , and a lady who was at the funeral and stayed behind for few hours came and gave me ice cream , and I asked her why did father had to be taken away in that strange box , and if his going to be home later , she explained his gone towards the sky , and will never come back , up till I was 17 I could hear him calling my name and when I'd run towards his voice the sound seemed to go further towards the forest , and when I told others they said ,they can't hear anyone calling for me , and not to follow the voice again ,as evil can imitate his voice and might lure me deep into the forest and harm me , unknown to me I'd sat at the front door step watching out towards the path that led to our home , as I could also see him coming home same as when he was alive , but would disappear when he'd neared home living me confused ,as to why the hide and seek , one evening I sat there as usual when my mum who had arrived home from work around 8pm ,was inside with my other siblings , and together with another sister whom I'd told about the sightings , came around the corner of the house with white sheets covering them , I flew so fast past the lounge room and jumped in the bed ,where another sister was nursing her baby ,almost crushing him in the process, screaming like I'd seen a ghost , getting a hard slap on face in the process, not realising the fake ghosts were laughing their arses off , feeling proud of their stupid deed, next morning when my sister came to get me up for school , I was burning with fever and shivering with cold in 30 plus degree heat and could barely speak , they took me to the hospital but they couldn't find anything wrong , but sent for tests , from one hospital to another and missed school for six months , till a lady prayed and blessed me saying they shouldn't have scared the child like they did , and should have taken me seriously about seeing dad and hearing him calling me , what ever was doing it must have possessed me that night , as I couldn't even eat or drink apart from few sips or bites and that too would come out being sick , gosh I was so frail that I had to be carried around , after the blessing I was violently sick the next day like I'd thrown up the linings of my stomach and everyone thought I'd die , but after going to sleep for more then half a day I was back to my old self apart from being weak , and demanding I wanted to go back to school , which I wasn't allowed for another month till my health and weight got back to normal , I'd missed my exams and was crying about not wanting to repeat , but I guess once the teachers found out that I almost lost my life being sick , visited me at home and assured I d be allowed to go to the nxt standard, of course they had to let the once who failed also not repeat . , as for the story about the fairies , our neighbour and a school mate used to say the fairies lived near their house and would only come out at night to play , we'd tease her being off with fairies, hence years later found out ,that people who smoked weed ,were referred to as being off with fairies . 🧚♀️ how fitting ,and no my friend was only 9 so definitely wasn't on anything lol.

These stories are allegedly true. They were submitted to me by subscribers. I narrated them in the first person, but I didn't experience these stories myself, so no, I do not have bad knees. :)

Her stories are by contributors/witnesses think of her website as MUFON or the BFRO only instead of UFOS or Bigfoot it centers on Fae encounters. BTW in a podcast a while back SFG discussed the UFO, Bigfoot and FAE connection I don't recall the title but it was interesting nonetheless.

The pronunciation of "aunt" as "ant" is bothersome. You're so well-spoken, it's jarring.

Not entirely sure if fairy related but I remember sitting near some turtles on a beginner hike/ walk trail with my 3 year old at the time he started playing in the grass as I settled with some snacks my 3 year old said look a baby turtle I turned saw butterflies landing on him and it was the sweetest thing but the second I went for a picture it was blurred as if the sun was blocking it, now with the trees the blurring seemed very odd but to this day we will never forget the butterflies from that day even if it was a cooler day and leaving behind a sandwich for the turtles and my 3 year old leaving his lollipop for the butterflies
