This is one of my favorite biblical movie, I have been looking for this a very long time. I only get to see this movie once a year mostly during the Easter, which is sad. This movie teaches you a lot about the bible, a clear understanding of how it was and it"s reality of the world we're living in today. Kindly upload this full movie and not just the clips.

it required no steering; its only functions were to be watertight and to stay afloat. A vessel so shaped is very stable, cannot be easily capsized, and contains about one third more storage space than ships of conventional design. There was a door provided in the side of the ark for loading and unloading the cargo.

Abraham rages as he ascends the mountain with his Boy. Obedience requires an offering. Fuel, fire, constraints, knife. But an angel intervenes. Shows the lamb caught in a thicket. Substitute lamb. Father and Son dance with delight before the delighted eyes of Heavenly Father. Mountaintop experience of faith and intimacy.

We are not told how Noah fastened the timbers together. But even before relating the Flood account, the Bible mentions forgers of copper and iron tools. (Genesis 4:22) In any case, to this day wooden drive pins known as treenails are used to build some wooden ships.

is used by modern naval architects. This gave the ark approximately 40,000 cu m (1,400,000 cu ft) in gross volume. It is estimated that such a vessel would have a displacement nearly equal to that of the mighty 269-m (883 ft) Titanic of this 20th century. No cargo vessel of ancient times even slightly resembled the ark in its colossal size. Internally strengthened by adding two floors, the three decks thus provided gave a total of about 8,900 sq m (96,000 sq ft) of space.

Design and Size. The ark (Heb., te·vah′; Gr., ki·bo·tos′) was a rectangular chest like vessel presumably having square corners and a flat bottom. It needed no rounded bottom or sharp bow to cut rapidly through the water;

5 The Bible tells us that Jehovah issued a decree in heaven. According to Genesis 6:3, he said: “My spirit shall not act toward man indefinitely in that he is also flesh. Accordingly his days shall amount to a hundred and twenty years.” This was not a statement regarding the average human lifespan. It was a judicial decree in which Jehovah declared when he would act to cleanse the earth of ungodliness.

Noah’s ark was the provision by which forefathers of all mankind survived the global Deluge of 2370-2369 B.C.E. (See DELUGE; NOAH No. 1.) Detailed instructions were given to Noah by Jehovah as to its size, shape, design for light and ventilation, and materials to be used for its construction.-Ge 6:14-16. (Genesis 6:22) Noah did this with the help of his wife and their sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth and their wives. Jehovah blessed such faith. What excellent examples for families today

One of the greatest Biblical movies;More attention has been focusted by the producer on Noah'.s part of the story.which actually contains more spectacular scenes( which also remind us of a zoo.).than the other episodes in the film.The back ground music is excellent.Most of the characters in the movie are wearing over exaggerated facial make up which look odd and quite unnatural.

The Mormons used raw hide to bind the massive timbers that was used in the building of the tabernacle building on temple square. They did not have the money to purchase steel pins. At some point they may have replaced these raw hide holders with more modern methods.

Hi Marc, not sure what you mean by that--- F with a C bass would just be a standard inversion…Can I ask what you mean by an "F64" ?
@marcparella

I can't write 6 on top of 4 which would be standard notation for second inversion. Spelling from the bass: CFACEG. Instead of F9 Maj 7 in second position, I hear an F chord in second position with a C chord in root position above it.

THE ARK WAS NOT A TRADITIONAL BOAT SHAPE..REMEMBER ALL IT HAD TO DO IS FLOAT..In size the ark was 300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high. Conservatively calculating the cubit as 44.5 cm (17.5 in.) (some think the ancient cubit was nearer 56 or 61 cm), the ark measured 133.5 m by 22.3 m by 13.4 m (437 ft 6 in. × 72 ft 11 in. × 43 ft 9 in.), less than half the length of the ocean liner Queen Elizabeth 2. This proportion of length to width (6 to 1)

Since the Flood began in 2370 B.C.E., we infer that God made this pronouncement in 2490 B.C.E. At that time, Noah was 480 years old. (Gen. 7:6) Some 20 years later, in the year 2470 B.C.E., Noah’s sons began to be born. (Gen. 5:32) About one hundred years remained before the Flood was to begin, but Jehovah had still not revealed to Noah the special role he would play in preserving the human family. How long would God wait before he told Noah?

It's their type of wood used the cedar tress which scientist have found could be used for such a task all it had to do is float..many believe it to be a ship it was not the bible gives it dimension off the craft..it was like a ware house box shape..remember all it had to do is float..
@TheButtascotchbro1

Not true..many types of ships back then were made from the same material even the as early as the vikings ships.. The ark was constructed with three decks, which gave it added strength and provided a total floor space of about 96,000 square feet [8,900 sq m]. It was built of resinous-and thus water-resistant-wood, possibly cypress, and was sealed inside and outside with tar. (Genesis 6:14-16)

The ark that Noah built was gigantic-longer than a football field and as high as a three-story building. It was more than 100 feet [30 m] longer than the schooner Wyoming, which was reportedly the largest wooden-hulled ship ever built. Of course, the ark was not a ship; it needed only to float. Nevertheless, it required advanced construction techniques. And it had to be covered inside and outside with tar. It may have taken more than 50 years to build.-Genesis 6:14-16.
@GamePlayerZ1912

Noah's Ark size is probably much bigger than the usual 18 inches cubit (450 ft long - 75 ft wide - 45 ft high), Noah would probably have used the largest cubit for more space on the Ark, the largest cubit at the time was the Egyptian one which is 20.6 inches, so it was probably the one used, which makes the Ark: 515 ft long, 85 ft wide and 51 ft high. The Ark's shape doesn't matter, as long as it floats, for example, a box Ark is usual and it floats, but if the Ark uses a boat shape, it doesn't mean it isn't the shape of it, a boat also floats, doesn't it? Anyways the shape of it is up to you, the Bible gives no clue of the shape other than Tebah's translation (but it can mean other things too so it doesn't count).

lol A handful of people over the span of 100 years constructed the ark and it still floated? Heh. I lived in a house that was 80 years old and even with big repairs every 15 years, the damn thing didn't even weather a rain storm well. Yeah, then again, I wasn't a big wino like Noah and didn't have god on my side.
