Looks great, alot of sanding and polishing but it payed off. I have got to find a model shop, 1:8 scale looks fun. Thanks for sharing

My opinion the 32s look better full fender. The only reason they took them off to make them lighter for racing not for looks

Wow, looks like you could get in and drive it! It reminds me a little of the Neal East roadster.

Thanks for reminding me, I forgot to mention in the video that this car was heavily inspired by the Neal East roadster. Thanks for the comment!

This is an awesome build! The big kits are fun, although it's been a really long time since I built one. Great video.

Very inspiring! So far on mine Ive z'd the frame in the back and channeled it. Probably have to pie cut the front to get it low enough, also ordered a 3d printed dropped axle off ebay. Definitely a great model kit. You should build that 3rd one right now!

It seems the old ones built in the ‘60s and ‘70s get destroyed as the glue doesn’t hold its bond and they literally cannot be touched less they fall to pieces

Awesome looking deuce! Would love to do one of these but doubt I'd ever have a space for one to be properly taken care of. Thanks for sharing. Maybe could camera up through the glass to show the bottom if you ever wanted to.

Beautiful build. I have the original kit in my stash and am reluctant to put it together. My modeling skills are modest to say the least. I guess someday it will be beer money for my grandsons 😅. Thank you

If it's any encouragement, I find these big kits easier to build. You can see them better, they parts are bigger and easier to paint.

@@HayAuto thank you for your support. I do need to find a new one piece red hood for mine. Any ideas where I might find one? Mine was folded somehow and cracked along the top.

@@ejharrop1416 ebay possibly. If it's a clean break in the plastic, you can glue it back together, then sand the seams with 180 grit sanding sticks, then sand finer and finer, and you'll be able to polish out the plastic if you don't plan on painting it. Use Super Glue Gel.
