Good night, what a wreck!!! Go back to 0:16, and you can see the #14 tap the back of the #21, who in turn tapped the #22, then the #6 and then finally the #2, which took them all out right down the center lane. So if you want to blame someone, blame Briscoe.
@jayryia

No blame here. They can't see ahead of them to pre react to a situation. Nothing done was different to what was done the entire race. The line was moving fast and Cindric was too far out. brad checked, Logano couldn't see that in time even if the spotter warned him and he checked up ad Brad came on him. Accordion, Cindric gets hit, Big one ensues.

NASCAR, like every single other racing series, is constantly changing. Some years it is the super speedway racing that sucks, sometimes it is the road courses, mile and a half's, or short tracks. Whenever they attempt to tweak things to improve short track racing, it creates a problem on other tracks, and on and on. The fact is, they continue to change the cars to improve the safety, and various other reasons so it is a constant struggle.

Here’s a novel idea…how about NASCAR dumping the 5.8L V8 with @650 hp and go to a V6 or inline 6, with a HP cap of about 450…no need to restrict speeds, and the cars could still reach 190-200mph. I mean, there’s turbo 4 cylinders that can just about do that. Why keep running antique V8’s if they’re too fast to let them run.

Nascar should be embarrassed. If this doesn't tell you something is wrong with either your product or the quality of your drivers, nothing will. Go back to what was working in the 90's and early 2000's. Stop handing these cars to these unskilled impatient kids who don't know how to drive. Wrecks like this didn't exist and there was no need for overtime when we had men like Earnhardt, Petty, Wallace, Irvin, Labonte, Elliott (Sr.), Martin, Kulwicki, Jarrett, Allison, Rudd, Bodine, Shrader, Waltrip, etc, etc, driving.
