I tackle the biggest differences between the Hybrid cameras, broadcast cameras and cinema cameras. To start this series, I'm going to talk first about compression, storage and bit rate.
Even if we might get the same device slots from a camera to another, does it mean I can run them with the same storage device ? Let's see what happens if I use the SD card of my GH5s with the Blackmagic URSA G2, recording in 4,6K BRAW ... We'll see BIT RATE is the problem.
My goal with these videos is to help you realizing what options you have out there so that you understand by yourself what would be the best choices for your projects. Let ask the good questions !
Thanks a lot to Angelbird, our partner for this video, who helped us with our terrible SSD recorder on the URSA G2 and provided us the best solutions for this camera. I tell you more about it in this video...
