Happy Halloween Brothers one of my biggest regrets ever not going to see a king diamond concert on Halloween night I had no choice my best friends girlfriend came over unexpectedly and wanted to go trick or treating with him and he was my ride didn't have tickets so I didn't lose money but probably one of the greatest shows I would have ever experienced

Mandatory listening for the unholiest day of the year ever since this album came out! Just discovered the channel and was stoked to see this song. Trevor was undoubtedly one of the most talented lyricists out there and had such a great sense of phrasing with his vocals that elevated his poeticism even further. Since Judson mentioned liking their melodic style, I’d love to hear his thoughts on songs like Everything Went Black, I Will Return, and Raped In Hatred By Vines Of Thorn Dumping a bunch of other random suggestions while I’m here: The instrumentals from Wretched’s first few albums, Winter Madness by Wintersun, Buttersnips, Froggin’ Bullfish, Habitual Line Stepper, and Reptile by Periphery, The Art of Dying by Gojira, Dancers to a Discordant System by Meshuggah, The Hypocrisy by Fleshgod Apocalypse, Stabwound by Necrophagist, Come Hell or High Water by Native Construct, The Lotus Eater by Opeth, Ancient Covenant and I Am by The Faceless, Faust by The Human Abstract, Sumeria and Deconstruction by the Devin Townsend Project, Dreaming Schematics by The Contortionist, Lunar Wilderness and Extremophile Elite by BTBAM, Cockroach King by Haken, Nascent and War Of Being by Tesseract, Bone Marrow and Tongue Splitter by Protest the Hero, Hypnagogia by The Zenith Passage.. and I’ll stop there only because this is already an obnoxious amount lol

I LUV me some melodeath, but you have got to get this guy some more interesting and musically sophisticated pieces to listen to. I suggest Arch Enemy 'Dead Eyes...' or 'Rise Of The Tyrant, Carcass 'Unfit For Human Consumption', Soilwork 'Shadow Child' or 'Millionflame', Dark Tranquillity 'Silence And The Firmament Withdrew', and/or 'Zodijackyl Light', At The Gates 'Forever Blind', or Cipher System '7 Inch Cut'. Please. I felt Cemetery Gates was worthy of his musical knowledge, but many of the selections not so much. And I agree about that drum sound. Too rat a tat tat.

Isn't Death a pioneer when it comes to melodic death metal Richard? Without sounding like a smartass and as a person who hasn't dwelled to deep into death metal as a genre, but atleast that's what crosses my mind. Love the work you guys do btw! Greetings from the North of Sweden.
