I don't think modern Hollywood would allow it. They turned their favorite faded acts into legends to be handed down by future generations, had a heavy handed religious message, made cops look like idiots, and had no regard for political correctness. All for a storyline of saving an orphanage. Wouldn't fit anyone's agenda anymore.

Wow. After watching this I'm surprised at the number of people that have since passed away. John Belushi, Carrie Fisher, Matt (Guitar) Murphy, Ray Charles, James Brown, Cab Calloway, Aretha Franklin, John Lee Hooker, Donald (Duck) Dunn, John Candy & Alan (Mr Fabulous) Rubin. +Walter Mirren I have actually played in maximum security prisons (Canadian Government money is sweet... Once you are veted - yu are free toask forall the jobs available...) ) No girls in federal prisons - but lots of Swiss Chalet. Everytime I played a medum or maximum security prtison - we just ate Swiss Chalet.
