I've had my BoJack Tobee for almost 4 years. Your description is pretty spot on. One thing you didn't mention is their desire to play fetch lol. Tobee will play fetch for ever. If you get tired of playing he will find one the kids or whoever to throw for him lol. My favorite thing is how smart and affectionate they are. During covid we got him. So everyone was home all the time. The kids would teach a new trick everyday. He was capable of learning each one usually by end of the day. And like you mentioned. He never leaves my side. Either on my lap at my feet or in the bed lol. Super happy with my Tobee

No toy survives a Bo-Jack! They have super strong jaws. Our Bo-Jack can’t be left alone at home, he suffers from separation anxiety as many Bostons do. We trained him from the beginning to adapt to a baby and now he’s a lovely big brother, but it’s not a natural feature of them. As hunters, Jack Russell breeds are not natural caring with babies, but properly socialised they can be great. They are energetic, very, even when they are full grownups, they still need at least an intense exercise full hour outside at least 3 times a weeks.

Great video and overview of the Bo Jack. We are hoping to adopt a 4 month old Bo-Jack from our local humane society. He was a rescue and we have our first meeting tomorrow! Fingers crossed.

My boston zeus is only 1/8th jack. But everything was prety spot on. Hes the best but man does he ever get needy and clingy. I think he does a better job following me around than my own shadow.

I didn't even know this was common. My friend had to give up his 2 dogs because he was forced to move to a smaller place with no yard so I took them. Staffordshire and this guy Alfie. Cute as hell with more of a Boston short snout and a snaggle tooth from the bottom that sticks out his lip sometimes lol 😂 great dog he's watching this video with me now

I love my Bo-Jack; I've had her since she was six-weeks old and now she's nine-years-old. The one thing I will say is she did not mature for four years. It took that long before she slowed down enough to listen to commands and began to want to please. I've never had a dog that took that long to get rid of her puppyhood. It was worth the wait, but I would not recommend it for a first-time dog companion or a dog companion that's away from home a lot or works long hours.

Thank you for the video! I got a bojack by mistake while searching for a second Boston/beagle. The place I got him had no papers but we fell in love. best dog ever! So smart! We didn’t socialize him properly and he was dog and cat well bird and small animal aggressive. Took a bird straight from the sky one day. But now I can only want for another Jack russel mix. Favorite pet ever! The beagle mix is also great but super independent. Where the Jack want to be loved at all times

Our Lily is what I'd call a Jack-Bo, 75% Jack Russell and 25% Boston. What a wonderful dog. Yes, she can be stubborn and at 4 years old she still has the occasional zoomy, but she is so incredibly smart, loyal and affectionate. We have multiple cats in the house and she is also very good with them, as long as they don't mind her insisting that they get their ears cleaned and occasionally being persuaded to get out of her bed. We get her a several mile walk every day and that seems to satisfy her, so that she's happy to spend the rest of the day sleeping in her bed or on the couch watching TV with us. She does usually need one or two play periods during the evening but they're short-lived and entertaining. She loves any show or commercial with dogs or animals. She has her favorite commercials that she recognizes immediately, even before the dogs appear, and springs to complete attention and starts conversing. Never had a dog that reacted to television the way she does. She loves the Taskycake Krimpet commercial which starts with an alarm clock going off and then the wife coming down the stairs with her dog following. Lily springs to attention and starts talking as soon as the alarm goes off. She knows that dog is coming down the stairs and she has things to say to him. She is the first small dog we've ever owned and we've found her size to be a blessing. Our previous dog was around 75 pounds and when she got older and had trouble walking it was very difficult getting her into a vehicle or helping her when she had problems getting around on her own. Bottom line, whatever cons these dogs have are far outweighed by the pros in my opinion. We couldn't ask for a better companion than this little dog that has no idea that she's little.

I have BoJack. Named Jani and he is 3/4 boston. best little buddy anywhere. he is my first dog (got him at 10 weeks) and i think he is great but i was home all the time and had the time to train him.. I have some vids up. I will ssay they are becoming very popular after covid and are getting to be expensive. Some have started calling them a designer dog.

We just adopted a Boston/Jug mix and she definitely has some Jack Russell traits. She's already very affectionate and super smart.

I used to have Boston Terriers. I love that breed but mine all had some health issues. But I bet a mix of the Boston and Jack would be cool. Right now I have a Jack Chi and am more happy with just one dog. We have had two dogs for many years and like the one dog household better. My boy is a pup , but a bo jack I might consider at a future date.

Great minds think alike. I had three Boston Terriers at one time, lost one in 2015, and the other 2 last year 2020. I to now have a Jack Chi/Jackhuahua. I loved and miss my Bostons, but this spunky little guy I now have is a great addition to my household.

I had three Boston Terriers (lost the last two in 2020.) They are WONDERFUL but stubborn, loving dogs. My youngest female, was a great watchdog as well. This past April 2021, I adopted my Jackhuahua, Linus. He is loving and can be stubborn and full of energy! It seems I have been lucky to experience many wonderful dog breeds including Boxers (another GREAT and stubborn breed 🤣.) You really can’t go wrong with any of these breeds it seems ❤️. BoJack? Sounds like LoJack 🤣🤣🤣!

Josh, doesn't a boston terrier have a bad breathing...nose etc...not good with heat??
@louvin5671

Boston's can have short noses. The last one I had had a bit of a longer nose. So he did not have any breathing issues. I would think being mixed with a Jack Russel would help keep that nose a little on the longer side.

Hi there, you mentioned that the Boston Terrier is a terrier breed. They are not considered terriers by the American kennel club, and are part of the non-sporting group. Important to get your facts straight when you put yourself forward as an expert.
