This was Bob's own version of "TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES"- produced between the end of NBC's daytime edition of "TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES" (in September 1965), and the beginning of the syndicated edition {for Metromedia} in the fall of '66. Dresser Dahlstead and Bobby Lauher continued to work with Bob on the new "TOC" {again produced by Ralph Edwards}, which lasted through 1974.

0:30, Bob Barker with grey hair even before "The Price Is Right." Evidence that Bob never liked coloring his hair.

I'd debate that it's the quality of the footage...

Probably could have achieved the polish of the similarly styled House Party with some tinkering. Interesting find.

This was fun to watch! I have also heard the audio of the only episode of The Tonight Show that Bob ever hosted.

While some of the gags and bits written for Bob here were not that good, his charm and polish before an audience made them go over...inspite of everything! Let's keep in mind that he had an audience participation radio show in LA in the early 50's, and was so good that Ralph Edwards, the creator and original radio host of Truth or Consequences wanted Bob for his TV version. Bob Barker is taking not the best vehicle here and still making it rather enjoyable to watch. His amazing experience, professionalism, and personality made this at least somewhat entertaining!

Interesting concept but needed more cohesion and a little less silliness in some of the humor
