What a sad story. It reminds me of a family that was murdered in Tennessee. The son did not want to work and his parents were not going to support him anymore. He killed them, cut their bodies up and put their body parts in tubs. He then poured acid over them. The dog he spared, but he had locked the dog in a room upstairs, turned the heat on full blast. He left a journal that he had written step by step instructions from killing his parents to disposing of the bodies. He assumed he was to inherit all of the life insurance his parents was leaving. I just find it sad that entitled children think they are above working. That their parents owe them, and that the parents are supposed to support them for life. They go bat crap crazy when they are told no. I thought the headstone was beautiful. And it was sweet that the family dog was included.

Even if his stepdad runs off to his lover. He is still on the hook financially to some extent to his 15 year old son and his wife. The hurt will be most on his mother. Call be crazy, but I would think he should of supported his mother and NOT kill her ? I agree what explanation he gives make no sense ? In my opinion I don't think he was such a loving son ? Something else and deep was going on years before that we may never know about. He admires Mandela but kills his whole family and the dog ? Make NO sense no matter how you may look at it.

Yes I agree. I believe that something very sinister was going on in this young mans life, maybe it all started when he went away to college. Who knows....maybe drugs, or even a gang or the occult. Those are just my thoughts and opinions, but something 100% evil had hold of this guy, it was not just that "he was mad at his stepdad for being gay" or "mad at mom/stepdad for not helping him go to Europe". I mean he even murdered his little brother and the DOG for crap sake. And in such a brutal and horrific way, stabbing them repeatedly. My Gosh such a deranged individual. I hope that their family members have been doing okay and I'm sure the community will remember them for a long time to come. Sad, sad story. 🙁

"Back packing" takes on a whole new meaning behind bars... And he's a pretty faced young man too so he'll find out soo enough. All I can say is that whatever prison justice he receives from his fellow inmates for the rest of his miserable worthless life is just karma pay back. It just sucks we taxpayers have to foot the bill for him now until he takes his last breath. My heart goes out to the grandparents, i noticed that there was no death dates listed for them on their marker, so they are still here. They too were dealt a life sentence. Thanks to him, they get to live out the rest of their lives with loss, trauma, & heartache instead of peace in their golden years. What did they do to deserve that? What did his little brother do to warrant having his young life cut short? And don't even get me started on Spike, that despicable act deserves the electric chair in my opinion. Or better yet, let him live but administer daily zaps with a taser everyday for the entirety of his sentence, like he did to his family.

Lamont, I would like to bring it to your attention that you messed up some very important facts when you went to Tombstone back in Feb. It was not Virgil that was shot and killed after the shoot out at the O.K. Corral when in fact it was Morgan (4-24-1851-3-18-1882) the third brother that was with Wyatt (3-19-1848-1-13-1929), Virgil (7-18-1843-10-19-1905), and Holiday. The lady that you called a lady of the night was actually an actress by the name of Josephine Marcus. The Cowboys tried to kill him (Virgil) but all they did was shattered his left arm which left him maimed for life but he lived to be 62.

We'll never know what drives someone to turn into evil. Perfectly normal people that snap and do an horrendous crime like this one. How did they lose their soul ? The perp wasn't born with this very idea he would kill is whole family. It's something he developped much later. I mean, none of what he explained as "reasons" made any sense whatsoever. That's where the mystery lies. Additionally, he didn't shoot his family. With a gun, you can even fire at a distance, it's so quick and easy. With a knife it's quite a different matter. It's body to body fight. And it requires a lot of energy/hatred. He could even have been injured, especially if people defended themselves.

What a beautiful monument and headstone for the family, as heartbreaking as it is. And as an animal lover, it is a very small consolation to know their beloved dog was buried with them. There is no way this man did this over his step dad's choice to divorce. If this was truly the motive, he would not have killed his mother, brother, and dog. Am I surprised he attempted to shift any amount of blame onto someone else? Not in the slightest, which makes me even more convinced he did it out of either anger they would not finance his European trip OR to gain financially with the deaths of his mom and step dad. Had to kill the brother too because his brother would have also been given 50% of the estate/assets. (Or quite possibly the brother was going to get the bulk or all of it since he was the full bio child of the step dad and mom, while he was a step child of the father) I believe this was the only way he could financially benefit from killing both parents and the only other person that would have benefitted from their deaths) He just didn't think he would get caught. It is why he parked at the dog park.

Yes, just like Joel Guy Jr. Same exact thing - entitled spoiled brats. At least Matt didn't cook his mom like what Joel did to his. Scary how many sickos pass off for "normal well adjusted & loved members of society."

He killed the family because his stepdad came out as gay and was planning to leave his mother. Tge step-dad was moving away with his gay lover. It has NOTHING to do with wanting money for his travels.

Thanks for going into detail about this crime, to just wipe out the whole family, even their pet dog, it's definitely an evil act. Something very very wrong with this young man. Suspect that story about the stepfather was made up last minute by this murderer. That's a beautiful Maine town you're in , Lamont.

Thanks Lamont. I don't know why this story haunts me the way it does. Maybe it's the brutality, or maybe it's because he killed the dog which shows a bloodlust that just knows no bounds. I don't know. But I appreciate you doing this video. Those poor people. That poor puppy.

I agree, adults have freewill to do & participate in the stuff they do..good or bad.. but poor animals just get sucked right into their mess. You wanna take yourself out..fine, but what on earth has your pet got to do with it.. please just don't harm them, that's just pure evil. 😢

Sadly we raised entitled children sometimes I think because parents struggle to give there kids everything children grow up and figure why should I work for what I want mum and dad can pay for it when the parents stop it upsets the kids badly I just can’t think of another reason why kids do this very sad Fly high family 💙💙💖🇦🇺

Hi Lamont, Mathew had a petty reason to kill his family and the dog, then sets fire to the house to cover up the evidence. He’s just a dumb criminal who couldn’t have what he wanted. RIP Bolduc family. 💐💐💐💐, Thank you Lamont for putting this out. Stay safe xxx
